Challengers are lighter I believe & I think the hood scoops have a lot to do with feeding air to the supercharger therefore making the whine louder & more top end power. love the content 💯

Bro no it wasn’t I have a scat and I did a mid muffler delete but I still gap other scat with or without it. It’s the weight difference between those cars and also the challenger has a different differential for faster acceleration but a 1mph difference in top speed

I mean he could have a factory freak , but I think the challenger weighs 200 lbs less so that mig be playing a factor too . Or your gearing is 262 and his is 309 which could be the reason he’s passing you on the big end because of the gear ratio on top end . Either way both car still awesome .

could be slight factory based variations in gear ratios and tuning along with the lesser weight of the challenger course...charger is also a four door sedan and less aerodynamic but based on what i've seen, all model challengers from the sxt to the redeye's are usually slightly quicker than similar trim chargers, especially top end, so no surprise there..

The 2.62 should give him the advantage on the top end so its not that. Maybe something is wrong with his car. Especially how rushed things are nowadays at those factories

You can’t get a charger hellcat with the 3.09 gears only the chally. The 3.09 enables these cars to run very low 10 second passes. The 3.09 gears are OP

What’s buddy! Hey I got a 2020 hellcat widebody. I was recently in a accident. The inner and outer tie rod is bent. I was able to get the outer tie rod. But the inner tie comes with the steering rack. Unfortunately it’s on national back order with no release date. Do u happen to have one or know where I can get one?

@@limitedsequence2024 Pirellis are good for light cars. Definitely not these boats. This guy wasted his money. Should’ve bought pss or ps4 for street tire or nitto g2 if he doesn’t want to spend money even though pirellis are expensive.

It just depends. You have to find that sweet spot. Timing is key

Challenger will be a little faster. Should win by about 1-2 cars. EDIT: There's no way it should be walking it THAT hard.

Redeye guy might want to fix that oil catch can line, that seemed pinched, don't want his header to go BOOM!

hood pins deff gave him the upper hand

The charger I feel might be more weighed down, or you may still have some miles to drive before it lets you really get on it. Not too sure

@Jr Jr no this car is a dud 60-110 in 7 seconds that isn’t normal

Check your supercharger they have issues of grinding turbines cause of loose bearings.

309 lowers your top speed but accelerates way quicker, 262 doesn’t have a lot of power when you doing rolls but it gets quicker to the top speed Which 309 is the best idea

I have a 2019 charger RT 5.7 stock for stock I never lost a race against a challenger RT 5.7 dig or roll same year challenger too but it didn’t matter. And tires have a lot to do in a race especially if y’all have the same type of car.

Challengers are about 200 pounds lighter than the charger so that probably is part of the reason that his car is faster.

yep charger srt's weight 4586 while the challengers are 4415...i could only guess that's the only real factor aside from the challenger having a more compact body with better aerodynamics..

@@MrBloodguns yep. I've got the hood pins on my challenger and the straps rub onto the paint and leave a grayish smear. Have tried cleaning it hundreds of times but will not come off

@@davidsimental7154 well regardless you're gonna have to have it shut like any normal hood. You can remove the little straps if you take the plastic covering off above the headlights and use a screwdriver, but it ruins the look imo. I still have to shut my hood like any other

@@davidsimental7154 I have had a time where I didn't fully close my hood and it was slightly popped open, but the pins kept it in place. Didn't really need the straps since the pins stay nice and secured

I think u broke the blower giving it the beans to early doesn’t even sound right the blower is to quite not making max boost if I didn’t know better I’d say yours runs like it’s in eco mode

Also about the tires I had Mickey Thompson Street SS they are junk on the street.I had many kind of tires I've been through. I found the best tire for a 20-in rim is the toyo 888r. The tire size I run with the wide body on the rear is a 325 30 20 in. Front 315 30 20 and I have no issues with rubbing. Also the tires at higher speeds the car feels glued to the ground the other tires like Mickey Thompson nitto you get the rear end wobble. These toyos I can be in second gear 40 mph and smash the throttle to the floor and it sticks and goes. There is no tire in the world you can do that with a dig. Unless you're at a prep service at the track. But even from a dig these tires on the street are much better than any other tire I tried. They are expensive but you get what you pay for.

The reason you're feeling a big difference between the Challenger versus the charger is the Challenger has the 309 rare end.you put a 309 rare in your car it would be the same. That is a big big difference 😜 going from a 262 to a 309 gear. You're obviously capable of putting a rear end in that car yourself. So do yourself that favor and you will enjoy that car a lot more. And that car will be just like the Challenger you drove. I have a 2019 red eye with the 309 rear and I had a regular one with a 262 rear I noticed a big big difference it was like I had an extra motor in the car. Haha. The only difference is your top speed will not be as high but who cares where you going to go over 200 mph anyway without killing yourself. The fun is from 40 to 130 and that's where the 309 rear shines.

@@pantheranegra2261 it's an option on the red eye which is now the jailbreak. In 2019 on the red eye came out which is the car I have I had to pay $1, 095. It was an option. Standing rear end on all hellcats is the 262. Now when you order a new hellcat red eye you have to go and pay extra for the jailbreak then you can get the optional rear end so it's more money.
