Can't remember when I started watching you or how I came across your channel. I do know that I have learned a lot from you and I'm twice your age!😳 My sister bought me the Willow Tree nativity last year and I love it dearly. My favorite Christmas decorations are definitely nativity scenes. So thankful for Jesus.

You guys are awesome. I usually pick a room and start. Bedroom when not much motivation. Kitchen when I am motivated.

Ahhh!!!! I SO needed this! My house is an absolute wreck! Between summer vacation (my kids go back next week...we homeschooled last year so everyone is excited!) And working, ive had zero motivation to actually clean my house. I'm on vacation now until Wednesday and want to clean my entire house.

Both my wife & I work, but I do all the chores. I work from home and do a little each day to help save the weekends from being all chores. Today is Saturday and my son is in town to celebrate his 22nd birthday, but I still have some things to do. Bathrooms, & kitchen cleaning are the main two. I liked your idea of slow vacuuming & will try that this weekend. I also want to see about getting a hardwood / laminate floor cleaner like you have.

I had to go back and try to remember the before.. Amanda , the changes are so perfect. I could sit in there and just look and look. You have the ability to choose colors. I love it. 🌻❤🍁 I love the living room shelves ……a really focal point and gosh I just love it so.

I definitely needed the motivation. We are in the process of moving so everything is a little bit of a mess in our apartment

My peoblem is that I let things pile up and then say svrew it one day and 🏃‍♀️ tackle the biggest problems first 😅 having a toddler thats crazy active doesn't leave me alot of time to clean, but im working on it. If i won I would chose the $200 over the cricut but i would really want the cricut 🤣

Hi Amanda. I love how you use live plants in your home. My question is how do you keep your cats from munching on them? Our cat will chew on anything green. So even if I get all cat safe plants, they end up chewed up. Also I have a similar question on essential oils. I love using oils and diffusers but have heard most are not cat safe and over time can make them sick. What oils have you found are cat safe? Thank you so much for any advice you can offer. I am watching this when I am done with tasks for the day LOL....BUT....it is causing me to get my list going for things tomorrow. I find do your domino chore really helps me not feel totally overwhelmed by all the things I want to get done. Bing retired after working full time for 36 years. . .I am learning how to lay out my day differently. I do start with making sure the kitchen sink is free of dishes. . .I tend to break big things down into manageable bites. . .Thank you so much!

Shelf decoration is kind of crowded. Anyway it is a great video. I love your style and energy.

Yea it’s Benjamin Moore… and I’ve heard it can pull peach depending on a rooms lighting, but it doesn’t seem to pull that way in our home, definitely something to look for!

You are so right Amanda we never need to apologize for our imperfections or things that aren't perfect because at the end of the day no one's perfect and if we're striving to be perfect that's a whole other thing within self I used too be that way and it's like why? So now I just tell myself that I'm not striving for perfection I'm just striving to stay afloat and do the best that I can each and every day because life does happen to all of us not to just one person so if I get one thing done I'm happy with myself and you do a great job relaying that to all of your viewers that we are not perfect we don't need to strive to be perfect we just need to be the best we can at what we do and that is good enough. And I love the way that you bring that to your platform your realness you show us that all we can do is the best that we can do if we are striving for perfection good luck because no one is perfect and I totally respect the fact that you show us that you are great

How do you get s throughout mop clean with all the pet hair? I'm asking because I sweep and vacuumed constantly and I mop pretty regularly however. The cat hair just get dragged into a lump when I steam mop. Like my steam mop finds all the hairs the vac didn't get and I'm so tired of searching for tiny hair balls afterwards lol I'm thinking about getting a new vacuum. I have shark vac right now but idk if I need one of the pet ones

Love watching. I love all the changes that you have made to your home. I love the green color that you added. It is such a warm cozy color. So happy that your Dad got to see your beautiful home. I forgot that orange copper wall color. Those were not your colors. The previous owner used some bold colors in the house. The boys bathrooms must have been for little girls. When you look back on these videos its easy to see that y’all having been working on making this house your own. Love it. Making chore to do lists might be helpful. But in the real world it might work or it might not. It’s life. OMGOODNESS I had to laugh with all the stuff under the bed. If kids can’t see it, it clean enough. Thanks sweet friend! It is so neat to see all the changes we’ve made so far. Sometimes we aren’t as far along as I would have hoped… but we really have done so much! And I’m so thankful my dad got to come down and be with us for those few weeks. That was the last time I saw him and had no idea what a true blessing that trip would end up being ♥️

I’ve had you on my mind lately with the passing of your father, I lost mine 2015, but he was saved and I know I’ll see him again. I also have a large mass on my thyroid not sure if it’s benign or malignant yet, but My Lifeguard Walk’s on Water, so I’m not worried about it. I know you issues with your thyroid, I’m praying you are doing well, you’re such a beautiful soul.💜

Apparently I have ADHD. I can't seem to complete a single room. I squirrel too much. I carry something from one room to put away in another and start on that room. I end up with a bigger mess than I started with and no energy left and then I have to go back to work the next day. Today was my kitchen - I've had a remodel going since Jan 2021 and still not put back together (I was out of commission 6 months with covid). My solution is throwing things away. I've held on to things to rummage sale or donate and neither has happened so I am throwing everything away. Kitchen is almost done - one shelf and the table to complete. Hopefully I can complete tomorrow after work and working in my garden. I really must hire some help.

I tend to tackle the bathrooms first and my kids room then my master and then the kitchen/dinning/living room since we have a great room. I would also love the Cricut machine, I've always wanted one!!

I just laughed out loud, you don’t know how that glass door gets so dirty...lol....I know when our Shane’s been home there’s nose and finger prints on al, the glass in the house at the 6’4.” Level and if Mikal ( Grandson) it’s at the 5’6” levels, I don’t know if they do it to see if I clean or to give me something to do!
