Start off in PRO-AM, then get your license.

@@formuladrift or you can skip Pro-Am and get right to pro2 if you're rich and popular! You even can get slingshotted to pro even though there's much more deserving people still slogging about in pro2 :)

@@someonedifferent6374 Fortunately, that is not possible. You have to at least have some experience that justifies a petition (previous results from other events + a PRO driver recommendation is helpful) or, like in the current era, if you are a domestic driver, you need to get a license from a PRO-AM. It's been that way for a quite a while. PRO2 doesn't exist anymore, BTW. If you are referring to LZ, he had previous experience and was qualified enough to get his license by the results he carried which I am happy to share, in so much as he won 2nd place in rookie of the year his first year in PRO2 (now PROSPEC) and that qualified him to jump to PRO since he finished in the Top 8 of PRO2, so no one gets in unjustified. That line against LZ is just solidly against the facts, so I am not sure why people don't bother to look that up. It just takes a minute. If you think there is someone that skirted that process, let us know.

Its blatant how much the judges are inconsistent. I saw 3 omt that odi should have outright won on the first two runs. Do better fd judges.

Such a shame FD "fans" are sooo toxic... There's always someone whining about something, roasting the series or even spreading misinformation about it. The weirdest thing about it though is that most of the times ppl behaving like this are Americans... Exactly the one that should be supporting the series the most since it represents their country in the competitive drift scene... Idk what's wrong with you guys. The amount of hate the FD staff gets must be unbearable.

Most are toxic and whine ngl. Personally I try to understand why judges make the calls the do even rewatching and dissecting for myself to see.. you also have to realize that they see more angles and cameras than us. The Fd staff is ridiculously great but sometimes the judges do make bad calls imo not everyone is going to agree but they’re only human imagine having to judge all those runs back to back barely any breaks… you get tired🤷🏾‍♂️
