2022 CFMoto 600 Touring Long Term Review - Good-Bad-Ugly #cfmoto #review 👍👎

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This is a video of my review of my 2022 CFMoto CForce 600 Touring at it's 1,000 mile mark. I've been pleased with this machine to date. Of course minus one item that CFMoto could really improve on which I mention in the video.
Hope this review is helpful and please like, share, comment and subscribe for future content.

The Seller for these wheels and tires was amazing to work with. I highly recommend them. I reached out to them and told them what I wanted and they built this wheel and tire package for me and now they offer it as a package deal.

Great video! I have a buddy and his wife own 2 of the 600T. Great machines! He sank his in a pond, pulled it out by winch, drained the water out and brought it back to the campsite. Handful of oil changes to clear out the water, he’s been good since. I purchased a ‘22 1000 Overland because of the luck he’s had. Very nice machine. Rides nice. Plenty of power for what I need. Highly recommend!

I bought the 2023 12k out the door. Looked at the others but after looking at price for the lower models I found dealer that sold me this one fully load and couldn't pass it up. It's a bit over kill but I would have spent that for the stock 850 at the dealer close to me. Drove 2 hours to get the deal but well worth it and got 7 year warranty. Dealers make the difference and worth going outside the box to get the deal. Love the machine. I did the 2 up polaris 570 ran into the same issue with 2 riders just not enough power on big climbs and the price point to go bigger in polaris was way to much and with polaris everything was an ad on taking the 850 to real close to 18k. I love the ride of a polaris sportsman but they priced themselves out of the game.

That’s awesome. Enjoy’ I will say I finally have my clutching tuned to exactly where I’m loving it. My wife rode with me over this past weekend and she even said “wow I can really tell the difference in how it pulls”. Machine didn’t struggle at all. So for now I’m happy. Eventually I will move up to the 800 or the 1000. That’s years down the road though. Thanks for commenting and enjoy that new rig 😊👍🏻

I have the same machine, same year except white. I Love it and have no regrets! CFMOTO is really stepping up their game. I personally felt like the CForce 800 was a little over kill for what I needed plus more expensive but a very nice machine as well with the V twin and the adjustable shocks like you mentioned. Very good review! I can’t wait to put more miles on mine. I am barely getting near 100 and mine is a 22 as well. I will continue to buy CFMoto’s! Great machines! Thank you! I love your videos

Thanks for commenting John! We appreciate the support and are pleased you enjoy the content. Glad we could help. Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy my machine and we now have three 600’s that ride across our channel. One of our main riders Matt, who was riding the 2-stroke 250R wanted something more comfortable and also with 4wd. I believe after seeing how mine performed and for the price point he pulled the trigger and bought a new 2022 1-UP model. He says it’s like riding a couch, lol. So he’s loving his unit. CFMoto was one of the highest unit selling manufacturers the last two years and that wouldn’t be possible if they weren’t stepping up their game. I agree there! Enjoy your machine and try to get out and put some miles on that unit 😊✌🏻

Getting bigger tires is always a good thing, I have 27" on my 520 and it helps a lot with ground clearance. Have been looking into getting a 625.

It’s a very capable machine. My only complaint as mentioned in the video is the suspension could be better. This machine has no issues pulling me and my wife all over some good trails and hills. We will be riding Hatfield and McCoy in April and this will be a good test with two riders, riding 3 days straight! Plus a great test for the Hester Elka shocks also!

The comment on the yamaha cvt is why I wouldn't buy another brand other than honda. The yamaha cvt uses a separate clutch to engage the trans and the cvt just acts as the variable gear. Other brands son't have that and at idle slip the belt so there is constant belt wear. I honestly can't believe every company hasn't copied the yamaha trans/cvt system. Honda being geared is of course pretty dead reliable in a foot shift and mostly reliable in a electronic shift. CFmoto has come a long way and I see more and more on the trails.

Thanks for commenting! Glad to hear that! I love my 600 but now wish I would have investigated more in depth the 800 model for various reasons I mentioned in the video. Eventually I might just keep the 600 and buy if I’m able, an 800. That way my son can ride the 600 when he is able. Not sure yet there! Lots to ponder 🤔

Hi, Thanks for the info about this brand Cf motor. I was really steering towards the touring, but a little worried about steering radius? Also was about just getting the 600, but now I really want the 800, I thought I heard they put a different suspension under the 800?. Also I do like the fire orange color, but really would like the cherry red. Oh I heard you say you lived in Pennsylvania, any where near Erie PA? I live about 40 miles south of Erie in Centerville, Crawford County. Just have Farm land to be able to ride around here lol

  • @slawdogshenanigans

    @slawdogshenanigans

Thanks for commenting. I can honestly say the steering radius on the touring really isn’t all that bad. I enjoy the advantages of a touring model over a single seat model and note that in one of my reviews. I now have both the 600 touring and the 2024 800 XC and love both of them. The 600 is way more comfortable than the 800 but the 800 lays down a night and day difference of power vs the 600. As for suspension, yes the 800 has 3 way adjustable podium shocks vs the click style on the 600. We are in eastern PA about 6 hours from Erie 😔 Good luck in your choice! Choose what best fits your needs. Look at it this way, get the 800 that way you won’t have to upgrade later 👍🏻😉

Great review, my main complaints were mostly addressed with the updates to the 2023 models. Way less vibration being one of them, 2023 models put out way less vibration than prior models. Next would be power, with the motor updates on the 2023's they now put out about 5 more ho but seem to produce a good amount more low end than prior. Also they put in the new dash, love it. The real thing that I wanted them to update was the seat but they didn't. I'd love to see the seat from Gen 2 CForce 500.

@@slawdogshenanigans I'd like to test ride the new 600 and get a feeling for it. They have more hp now than Polaris 570, but as we know the clutching is different on these CForces. The 800 for me is just to big and heavy, I like the footprint of the 600 and 500 CForces.

I second that and yes with clutch work it does wake them up! I’m loving my new setup. It’s spinning 26” brand new maxis zilla’s! And crawling from a dead stop no jerkiness whatsoever that the stock clutching shows. I wanted the 800 but man it was much larger than the 600 as you note! I think I’m gonna hold onto my 600, throw some new shocks on her and maybe a tune! We shall see

Could a tunable suspension be added without breaking the bank ? or a shock upgrade will get it better for her ride, and what was the total cost on clutching? I may share my thoughts, my wife had issues on most any bike we rode, the root cause she never did stretches or any leg exercises, im 12 years older, but do workouts every other day, at 65 i can still go 10 hrs and ready the next day, it makes a huge difference, utube has many stretch exercises to see , no shock can be upgraded better than making our body shocks stronger

Sorry I wasn’t notified of your comment or I would have commented sooner. Only option I’m aware of is what I added to it and do NOT regret it, are Hester Edition Elka shocks. I went stage 1 and ran around $1,600! I have zero pain after riding all day and I’m 51 yrs old. My wife no longer complains either since we added the new shocks! Good luck

All were polaris, sorry fact! We just rode Hatfield and McCoy and guess what! None of the CFMoto’s even hiccuped. We lost a Yamaha, polaris and a Kawasaki was throwing cvt lights. Thanks but these machines kick ass for their price do and go everywhere the other ones do! ☺️
