Would love for McFarlane to do all the Charlton heroes. A Question & Captain Atom could look sick.

Yesss that would be so good!!

I do like how colorful this set is. it stands out from the rest of the line, but in a good way.

I know Todd doesn't give DC characters their original classic looks but he does try his best and the original Blue Beetle along with Booster Gold do look badass as a team because you can do the Batman the Brave and the Bold route or a Justice League cartoon route which is always fun because superheroes are awesome, Fantastic review Toyshiz.

Green Lantern is looking great!

The Death of Superman was also my first exposure to Booster and Blue Beetle! Obviously their defeat didn't weigh on me too much at the time, but I did think Booster just looked like a cool character. To this day, though, I will never understand how Ted still lived after the pounding Doomsday gave him--pretty sure getting your head shoved into a pipe and wall usually means instant death, or at the very least a deformed skull. As for the figures themselves, I think they are great and capture the characters well. It would be amazing if Mafex ever released them in their line of DC figures, however I am more than happy to have these up front in my display.

They look pretty good, especially Green Lantern if you know what I mean.

They're going to look great with the classic Martian Manhunter. Wouldn't mind the whole 80s JLI lineup, Captain Atom and Guy Gardner would be fantastic next.

Yes we need Captain Atom from McFarlane. I really hope we get a classic Hawkman as well

Nice review, thanks! I just opened up my set and love it. Also, you are correct about McFarlane customer service. I had an issue with a Devastator hip joint, and they were awesome in sending me a replacement!

Two figures closer to Justice League International!

I just think that when it comes to McFarlane, I dislike the choice of body molds to be reused for different characters because they end up sculpting details for a specific costume but then reuse the parts and just paint over the molded details instead of adjusting the base mold. Like with Hasbro and marvel legends, they have the Vulcan body mold, that’s been reused many times in the last like 2 years now? But they used it as a base and gave us Corsair with the sculpted collar, they gave us astonishing cyclops where they added the additional piping lines and boot/gauntlet details that required adjusting the base Vulcan body, and when it came to animated cyclops they used the Vulcan body again but this time sculpted on the thigh straps and chest straps and the boot tops. Like they all came from the same base body but were slightly altered… when McFarlane just paints over the already existing body models even if it makes no sens

I wish they both had transparent glasses and goggles so we can see their eyes since we can see them in the comics and shows

I love this set but it would be damn near perfect if they had clear goggles and thicker wrists. The wrist joints are so tiny and feel super fragile

The DCUC, the DC Direct (the best so far), the Iron-Cow Productions, the DC Icons (got canceled before release) and now the DC multiverse don't cut it for me. I need better representations of these two for my collection. Thanks for the review Toy Shiz.

I didn’t see skeet’s in the promo shots and thought he wasn’t included, very happy to see my only gripe disappear

I ordered the Blue and Gold 2 pack and Nekron from the McFarlane toys website and when I received my package, no Nekron figure. Then I discovered my Blue Beetle figure had a weird plastic piece inside of the shoulder joint that was completely stuck and prevented the arm from moving. So I had to email McFarlane toys about these problems and it took a bit for them to answer back, but they finally did and eventually I did get my Nekron figure (which is awesome) and I got a new blue/gold 2 pack and they didn't make me return the old one. Kinda worked out honestly because that allowed me to have two effect pieces for Booster and a beetle gun to customize (I added some blue paint to it and cut off the grapple part). Also, I messaged you on Instagram about my situation with the blue beetle figure as well, it's a shame about these QC issues we're experiencing here, I hope it stops

Booster actually came up with the name doomsday

It's more like Booster Yellow instead of Gold. I'll repaint mine with gold when I finally got him.

I wonder how hard it'd be to sand down those boot lines on Booster and do a full repaint

Shame Booster isn't in his classic uniform

I don't really like this paint over flat body they made here, feels more like a Hasbro move than anything else. Kyle Rayner texture was awesome, I hope they've donde that here

I don't usually pre-order McFarlane DC figures, but, BLUE BEETLE & BOOSTER GOLD?!! How could I not?
