I think it’s funny that I use this as a reference guide whenever I get a new doll and I want to rebody her. This way I don’t have to search all over the place making mistakes. Thank you so much for always doing these comparisons and doing them very well.

I really appreciate all of your skin tone videos! I too have fallen in love with the MTM articulation - I agree with you about the Barbie Extra dolls too. Their articulation is good enough when I consider how much rebodying them would cost. I really hope they put out a body to match #193 soon

Thanks for the tips!! I wonder if anyone has found a way to rebody the dolls with prosthetic legs onto mtm and just switch out the one leg? I so wish this could happen!!

@@MaxineAndrew right?! I may have to experiment with one of my fashionista bodies… I can only remember one of my dolls legs ever falling off as a kid and it was a hand me down ken of my sister’s from the late 70’s-early 80’s 😂😅

It should be possible. The MTM body as well as most fashionistas’ legs can be taken off after soaking in boiling water for a while.

I'm so happy that 188 worked on the astronaut body, yay, I was really crossing my fingers.

I only realized this recently but looks model #3 actually has an undertone difference between her head and body. Its very slight but the body might work for more dolls than one might think if we compare it by the skin tone of the head.

I put my 193 on the blond looks doll, and it's not perfect but it's not that bad when it's done. You can see it, but not the worst. Awesome video, and very helpful for future rebodies and buying plans :D

I haven’t found an exact match for 180, but I did compare her in the last fashionista skintone match video I did if you want to see which one you like the best.

Do you have any idea how to re-body fashionista 171, the curvy with vitiligo? I adore her and have been struggling to find a match for a little bit. I am new to dolls and not totally experienced with skin matching yet

The Barbie Made to Move with the green dye pants would match (if you want the original body type) and the Barbie Made to Move Dancer doll FJB19 would match too (for a curvy option).
