I was pulling for Lotman-Partain (I went to UCLA for college), but I can't say I'm bummed about Crabb-Sander winning their first AVP event together. Congrats to them on their well-earned victory. Both these teams are awesome and the volleyball they played during this match was next-level.

They needed that win!! Miles almost spoiled the party 🎉

As great as Miles can hit I'd love to see him mix up the pressure with a jump serve.

Taylor Crabb came close to having the first ever perfect tournament as a blocker.

When they played each other in AVP New Orleans in May, The game winning hit was a cut shot from Sanders. Crabb doing the same thing here to win the match was something else. Partain is THAT lefty though

It's basically like watching international tournaments just without real dominant blockers. I think partain is already leaning towards the internationally played things like attack fakes on the set however they still could go for faster sets and more options like behind or farther out

just watched replay,, 9 pm paciffic time, Mid night est,,, Grow the sport???? I live in Carlsbad, Ca. watched all day but ridiculously late time,,,,, all day, indoor facility, no weather. Long time fan, courtside many '80's events

That fake option looks to be the future of vball lol yea teams use it internationally and it’s not brand new but got dam did it confuse the fk outta sander lol awesome effort on both teams

1000%. Even just slight hesitation making the block late is a HUGE advantage. I love teams that hunt for misdirection and then have the skills to pull it off

Sander is so not a blocker. Half of the time he's in the wrong place or not up at all. When Partain does the jump fakes Sander was not blocking Partain's fake nor the actual attack. You have to commit to one. Also it should never happen that Taylor ends up blocking.

Exactly tho I know Sanders is a rotten trash talking moron he needs to get rid of mighty mouse 🐁 Crabb and play with a taller big man... Sanders will just be your average AVP beach bum if he stays with pipsqueak Taylor Crabb if he goes with a big man Sanders has a shot at becoming a legendary player in this game .. but he a dummy and makes enemies with his mouth so I don't know if Sanders is smart enough to dump Crabb

Sander is not experienced, and partains jump set is so hard to deal with it just a recipe for disaster. They also have Taylor blocking because sometimes it’s just best for the defender to block, they also have him block during serves because then Taylor can rip it without worrying to go run up and block

Really all Sander is good at is hitting a good set once that leaves him (and it will) he doesn't have much more than the average beach bum

@@bubbahubba5009 to be fair this is his first AVP season, so I won’t expect much from him. But he has definitely improved, its really entertaining to watch. But this is my opinion.

Apologies, but that MONSTER BLOCK singing crap is not awesome. Cartoonish in my opinion. Great block Great play But forcing the spectators to act like little kids dumbs down the effort of the athletes working hard on the sand.
