Hi there nice video and explanation. I went for the TUF F17 2021 model 16GB RAM, intel i7 - 11800H @2.30GHz, GeForce RTX3060, 1TB SSD. In Ringgit it would be around 6500 - 7300. Very nice upgrade from my previous laptop which had an APU and for creating games it was sluggish and froze with Unity, would not even entertain the HDRP, and Unreal Engine 4 it struggled, never mind UE5 now, but with the TUF F17 it is no problem at all, very quiet for a laptop playing/creating high end games. My one and only gripe with the 2021 Tuf f17 was the screen flicker and artifacts sometimes, very rare but does give me a slight worry when I see it, hopefully the new Tuf f15, even though the cheaper model, they have fixed it or at least stopped it from happening to very rare? As mines flickers maybe once or twice a day to sometimes once every few days, so it's no real problem. But I will say if you have a limited budget start at the middle ground and when you have more money to spend then go for the higher up models as even the high end models can go wrong just like the lower end models, that's just digital electronics for you! If you are serious about game dev then yeah you will want 16GB RAM a decent CPU intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 or higher, decent SSD storage 512GB/1TB or higher and an external hard drive and obviously Git/Github. Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050/3060 6GB/8GB or higher as well. Good luck old and new devs and hobbyst gamers ✌🏽

I'm thinking about going with the TUF Dash F15. Slimmer, lighter, best for traveling out of the bunch with the PD charging support, and almost if not just as good for light to medium load gaming on the go.

Go for an F17 if you budget allows, the larger screen is really worth it imho

Hi there, Picked mine up on Black Friday with the TUF monitor. But I found the thunderbolt 4 (labelled) port doesn’t recognise Gsync OR display settings when trying to configure the display in the nvidia control panel or windows settings. Only the USB C 3.2 gen2 supports display settings, with displayport and 165hz (my monitor) refresh rate. And noticed by the nvidia control panel.

You should have added thermal performance of laptops and compare it This way we could have batter understand which one to prefer and when to prefer Next tine Include thermal performance also 🙏🏻 Love from india

i think you can buy black versions of the wasd and change them manually, but i don't have experience with laptop keyboards so i think its better to do research on this.

Wait does the Asus Tuf Gaming F15 always had a i7-12700H? I don't have that at all? I have a 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz with a 3050 Ti.

Depending on what kind of video editing you are doing, if you deal with layers and VFX, best to get the TUF Gaming F15.

I am from india and i bought an Asus tuf a15 with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, 16gb ram, Rtx 3060 and i love the performance however the screen is not that great, you might consider buying an external Monitor for better screen, and i only got 512 memory, should have been 1tb. However they have 2 ram memory slots which can expand up to 32 gb ram and 2 ssd slots which can expand up to 2 tb. I love it.

@Abdul Rehman Temperature is always between 85 to 95 degrees during heavy usage, i do gameplay and recording and never had any throttling issue so far.

I can tell you that the keyboard and touchpad are exactly the same build aside from different backlighting, if you look further we did touch a bit on performance

@@klgadgettv Wrong. Keyboard on Tuf dash has black keycaps while Tuf Gaming ones have cheap looking white lining. I also touched both Ryzen edition Tuf Gaming 2022 and Tuf Dash 2022 in shop, touchpad feels better on Tuf Dash. Maybe it depends on unit.

Warning! ASUS TUF F15 is the worst computer I ever owned. Brand new mine had a serious battery defect. ASUS service center avoided responsibility and denied it. 800 euro up in smoke. BUY ANOTHER BRAND!
