I have a Max G30P w/Seat also & I love it! I wonder if the D40X's Seat can fit on the Max? 🤔The Max seat is "bicycle" design, while the D40 Seat is "Moped Scooter" design. You live in Elmhurst IL? 🤔

The seat on the D40X is extremely comfortable and stable over bumps, while the seat on the MAX is designed to fold and is less sturdy when you sit on it as a result. In a race they are about the same. Range, I never compared side by side. The G30 MAX is my favorite, for robustness and commercial feeling quality of the enclosed body design. I have 1000 mi on my MAX and no issues.

If rhe fold mechanism is to hard on fingers. Loosen hex bolt on back.

On this scooter, the steering stem folds down, but not the seat

How long did it actually take to assemble...the scooter..seat etc....and how do you start moving?? Is there a throttle? Or do you have to push off first to start it...considering getting one...just thought I would ask...thx in advance for any help

You push off, just a little, then it'll go on its own. We ride on gravel, grass and concrete. Fastest on concrete, second would be gravel or dirt, it kind of struggles in grass, but it'll go. It's strong, but stay out of thick grass if you want speed. It'll get a little squirrelly in gravel, because it'll lose grip on gravel. But, it will go up a hill on concrete, no problem. It won't be as fast, but I'm 240 lbs and it carries me just fine. Faster on level ground though. I think it might be faster than advertised on level ground. I have the seat attachment on it. I don't know what it would do without it. I've never rode it without the seat.

Do you know how to hack the scooter to maximize its potential as far as speed??

This scooter does not have disc brakes, even though it says disc brakes on the box. I called customer service to confirm and they said it does not, and will not have them.
