Don’t anthropomorphize animals. Storks are not “nasty”. Storks are following internal programming associated with the breed. There is no cerebral cortex, the part of the brain that not only allows humans to think, but to control emotion and behavior. People can be nasty. Animals other than humans react to 1. Breed programming based on natural selection, etc. 2. Environmental factors such as lack of food, prior or continual harm or care, etc.

Another person who doesn’t understand how nest cams work. Did you really think there’s a person sitting up in a tree with a video camera filming this hour after hour? Also these cameras are used to learn more about a particular species, not mount rescue missions. 😂

really quite pragmatic. there's no point in wasting resources on a weakling with no evolutionary advantage. knew a woman who had a baby super premature. never had The capacity for intelligence above infant. couldn't even swallow. The time and resources wasted on her was ridiculous. she had a healthy son and daughter who had value and potential. I'm on storkie's side. lol.
