I didn’t feel like 14 years ago when I played my first Sonic game. Time flies.

"2021 YEAR OF SONIC BABY!!!" And then nothing happened. Almost no Info on Sonic Prime other than Sonic's version of "Multiverse of Madness" We only got anything about Sonic 2 (Movie) and Sonic Frontiers at the game awards, by the end of the year. Roger Craig Smith left for about a hot second before immediately jumping back on the Sonic VA wagon, essentially that whole thing was "Aight Imma head ou- actually I think I might stay." And that is it for 2021 Sonic. 3 things happened in 2021 regarding Sonic, and they did absolutely nothing with it, we're only getting new stuff with the Sonic 2 Movie and Sonic Frontiers game in 2022. So yeah Cybershell, hate to burst your bubble but sonic did nothing this year.

I find it kind of funny that Cybershell made a two part bonus video for Sonic the Hedgehog, then made another bonus video in the second half of the Sonic CD bonus video, and now he's making a third, or rather fourth if you count the two parts as two bonus videos.

Damn, didn't expect today to be the best day of 2021 already

I saw the Hidden Palace stream which was really cool. However, what really got me, was the people freaking out at the end of the stream. They had a timer count down to them releasing the rom on their site. Though literal seconds after the timer hit 0, several people in chat were already acting like their year was ruined because they couldn't download it. Some were thinking that they lied about releasing it. They just had to wait a few moments...

Y'know, there is something particulary fascinating with the GC Sonic Mega Collection version of Sonic 1, im not sure if its the same for the PS2 version but i did found it quite interesting. When you complete Sonic 1 in the GC version of Mega Collection you can see the beta sunflowers on the ending but not on the stage itself, which tells me that they never got rid of the original color for the sunflowers from the beta but merely put them on the ending instead. Also that Sonic CD intro looks awfully familiar to the GC Sonic Mega Collection one just sharper, but i tell you its in the same exact quality in that game.

The rom in all versions of Mega Collection are the same as the Genesis version. It's the REV01 cartridge put onto a GameCube/PS2/Xbox disk and emulated

That dark pallete is an early pallete for Mega Play version, and UFOs make the sky look weird, like chunky a little bit, probably that's why they were cut.

Those UFOs in Marble Zone are kinda similar to the lamp posts in Studiopolis Zone in Mania, though the lamps in Mania rotate in the opposite direction and the center is a smaller glowing yellow ball. Might be a stretch to say it’s a reference, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was.

I dont agree. 3d allstars was 3 amazing games in 1 60$ package. Emulated or not, theyre still fun and not broken.

@@nottoofast They aged Sonic down by one year for Adventure. Knuckles was originally fifteen, but for some reason they aged him up to seventeen for Adventure. I have no idea what the rationale for these pointless age changes was.
