We couldn’t fit our 2022 AR190 in our garage that is 82” high. The dealer did not have any solutions. We had to let air out of the tires and drop it to about 20 PSI to get in and out. Thankfully we finally took our friend’s advise and switched out the trailer tires. Our 2022 shorland’r trailer model YAB30 came with: Original tires: Eco Trail ST - ST215/ 75D14- tread plies 4 nylon, sidewall plies 2 nylon, max load single 1870 lbs, max load dual 1650, load range C We switched the original tires for these and everything has been working out perfect without having to mess with the garage header or tower: ST205/65R14 LR D ( 8 Ply) WVS690 VISION MARINE HAULER Trailer Tire Tire Size: ST205/65R14 Tire Brand: VIS Marine Heavy Hauler Tire Overall Diameter (inches): 24.4 Section Width (inches): 8.1 Capacity (lb): 1820 PSI: 80 Load Range: D (8 ply) Speed Rating (MPH): 81 Hope this helps anyone who is going through the stress like we did. They were under $300 for the set at Discount Tire who special ordered them from the manufacturer.

Your video helps a ton on whether or not I'll be able to fit it in my garage too which also measures exactly 83.5 inches. Did you guys back it all the way in on the tow vehicle or drop it off the hitch and push it in?

The wait is brutal! Oh yeah so you’re just like me on the height of your garage then. I have a level driveway to I just unhitched it and pushed it in slowly by hand myself. If you have a sloped driveway that would be harder to do, but if it’s level it’s pretty easy to move yourself. I can do a video of that to show you while you wait! Did they tell you projected arrival date?

My driveway is level as well so shouldn't be a problem I'd imagine doing it the same way as you. Oh that's the kicker...no eta or updates and I call the dealer about once/week. I'm in the midwest so boating season is rapidly coming to a close :(

Yeah sounds like you’ll be fine getting it in. I did do a short video that lets you see how relatively easy it is to move by hand that you can see. Hopefully it arrives with a few weekends to take it out before it gets too cold!

There are adjustments on your garage door opener to bring the door back further when it stops. So it’s higher/flatter

Yes, but mine is adjusted as far up as it can go at this point. Might work for others though yes!

How much is the extra cushion for the front? Great video.

Aloha, nice looking boat and that trailer looks interesting... is it painted, is it a ShoreLandr? If it is and they haven't upgraded the light wiring to single wires (no connectors in the frame rails) you'll eventually lose the lighting. Mine (2017 SX190 w/Galvanized ShoreLandr) was problematic at about 6-8 months (saltwater) all the connectors rotted out. Ended up using LED's and running the wires down the frame. Great Boat! Love that new table feature. Will be another of my projects this year.

Waiting on the exact same boat. Did you buy the anchor separate or did it come with the boat? Also what is your opinion on the stereo? Loud enough or would you eventually upgrade?

Hey J H! Great to hear you are getting a Yamaha Boat! So yeah the anchor came with the boat situated in the center bow compartment with holders. And on the stereo, I have to say I’m pretty pleased with it at this point but I haven’t played with it a ton. I’m a big fan of hi-end audio though and might be looking for some tower speakers in the near future and maybe add in an EQ. That’s just cause I’m overboard on that stuff though because it is already plenty loud for my passengers at this point! 😁

I think this is far the best review I have seen. I have absolutely no boating experience and was wondering if this is a good buy for a beginner. Also do you just take it on freshwater or also take it on saltwater?

So far I haven’t had much trouble honestly, but I haven’t had to do a whole lot of low speed precision maneuvering at this point. Headed out tomorrow though and will shoot more video and try some different things, low speed turns being one of them. I’ve seen posts about the Thrust Vector X and it looks cool though and adds even more control. I’ll have to weigh which upgrade brings the most value before I make a move this year at least. Thanks for the tip though!

I have an 83.5 in garage door but the concrete floor is 1 inch higher just past the garage door . Is your floor flush where the garage door closes?

Hi Bob, mine is flush so I’m able to fit it without any adjustments. If you are only talking about an inch then I think you could deflate a little of one or both tires and get it in no prob.

James Seagle hey James! While it comes with a lot of standard features, the front fill cushions have to be purchased at additional cost. We didn’t opt for it. I added only the Yamaha Wake Booster and ShoreLand’r brand (standard Yamaha trailer) trailer guide-on’s.

What size cooler are you using behind the seat and does it strap in?

It’s just a simple 25 quart Igloo cooler that came with the boat and yes it does have a strap that came with it!

The ar 195s has the upgraded screen its 7 and nfb half inches instead of 4and half plus the 195s comes with all chrome cupholders and GPS maps upgraded audio and interior and it has a super charged engine...much faster than the 190 and

@@darshyvids4165 hey to each his own! I actually prefer the 190 interior, grey exterior color and black cup holders, and gas economy-not needing to go faster than 40 mph. Super charged also requires additional maintenance. Maybe the larger screen would be the only option that might be nice but not worth the thousands more in my opinion.

Extra maintenance is the difference of 10 dollars without the super charger.....just fluids not extensive at all ......miles per gallon between the two is a matter of fractions it all depends on driver and what your using the boat for to get your fuel economy ratings......super chargers most of the time will boost fuel economy at mid to low rpms so if anything the 195s are going to have better fuel range....and if your paying 34000 for a 190 and its only 40000 for a 195s, what's another 6 when your dropping that much already with most likely a 6 to 8 year policy......all said and done like you said it's up to the consumer preference for what they want and it's pretty much impossible to convince the other party otherwise.....at the end of day the 190 is a great boat and the 195s is a great boat but if your looking for that premium package...upgraded interior, cup holders, speakers and audio, GPS maps preinstalled ( which the 190 does not feature), and just an overall more luxurious and more technically advanced boat ...the 195s is going to be perfect for the joe who is looking for a 19 foot boat with plenty of power the get through the heavy chop ......facts are facts

@@darshyvids4165 no worries we all have our preferences like you say! Like you say this a GREAT value in a boat that still fits in a standard sized garage! That’s was the most important element for me as I’m not wanting to pay storage fees at this point in my life and I know a lot of others out there feel the same way and want to keep the price as feasible as possible. Hey there’s always the SX210 then at 43K that I might consider if I’m going up in price!

Hey Greg, I’ve got to 38 with 5 people but I’ve got three small kiddos so it’s not like 4 adults even.

If you lower the boat trailer jack, will that lower the trailer height overall to get it in a garage? My garage is about 82” tall :( otherwise I might have to get lower profile trailer tires.

They only got two in and they were sold on arrival. I know they have a list of people in line at this point so if you want to get one within this year, you probably should get your name on the list. Then at least you might be able to have the option when your number comes up, otherwise I know it’s very tough to find one. I looked for months online for a used one and they all sold within hours of posting and I lost out each time.

Little Viking coach hey! The dry weight on trailer is listed by Yamaha as 3,111 pounds. Then to figure with fuel weight and gear (full tank ~240lbs), I’d say I’m hauling it most often with a weight of more like 3500 lbs. Hope that is helpful.

Miguel Arreguin here’s the breakdown on the Yamaha site of the new model pricing: www.yamahaboats.com/boats/categories/19-ft-boats/AR190/. Most dealers, including the one we went with, were at or right around 34,900 with the packages they put together with Yamaha brand cover etc. We looked for months at used ones but they all sold within hours of being posted online and for generally only 1-2K below new price. Right now, Yamaha’s are pretty hard to find for sale.

Don't waste your money on the 190 ...your just paying for a better looking graphic...if you jump up to the ar195s your getting a premium package for a great price...everything is upgraded including the audio ..plus you can't beat the super charged engine on the 195s... starting price is at 40,000
