I sold my 2019 Mythos Blk RS5 a couple months ago and i miss it sooo much. Wish i didn't but crypto investments were calling my name. Maybe in a couple months ill buy another.
So similar, yet so difficult to choose 😂

@@GTS300Coupe I’m a have to go with everyone and go with the 2019 at 4:35 the 2019 just looks so much better like a F22 Jet it’s more angular and the lights fit it better
I'm picking the B9 for that steering wheel and the rims. I also find the infotainment easier to use. It just needs the B9.5's metal paddles and it's perfect.

I have a 2022 and definitely miss the MMI wheel. I also hate the piano black trim around the cup holders.

Very good comparison, both are perfect...
This is probably my favorite video on the channel, which really says a lot because all of them are fantastic. I have quite a history with the A5/RS5 as it’s always been my favorite Audi. I’m grateful to have owned my B9.5 satin black Sportback for a few years now. Both designs are beautiful but the B9.5 just seems to add a tad bit more refinement to the exterior. Great video!

For sur ! But the title is a lie ! A have a 2019 one and there is an OPF. And a big one you can't miss it when you open the trunk ! But the catalyst is smaller and there is no rev limiter ! And unfornately the sportback is available only since 2019 so the OPF is mandatory on that version .... Only the coupe exist without OPF!

Firstly what a cracking video! So much detail and awesome camera work 👍 I owned the 2019 B9 and picking up my 2021 B9.5 now! Both have OPF, but the B9 has no soft limiter. The B9.5 sounds awesome if you don’t Rev it up to soft limiter, just little rev blips you get the pops and crackles the same. I love both for different reasons, prefer the newer interior (apart from gloss black console) and like the light sequence! Both awesome cars and both look beautiful 🤩

They look just soo cool together. I specially like the spec with black wheels with a red car. Just looks amazing in my mind. Great video again

Superb montage Auditography, best in class, no one at BMW or Mercedes has type of love on one chanel, congrats The best comparation ever because you choose The same colour, if The colour of The car was diff audience cannot focus on Cars Best in class 📽📽📽 again. It’s funny you say that. As in the comments I picked up my 2021 RS5 after owning the 2019. I kept it 3 weeks and traded it back in! Lovely looking car but the ride was rigid and too firm, didn’t sound as good and overall I wasn’t impressed. Just found my original 2019 on Autotrader (UK) and buying it back! What are the chances eh! Came back to watch this video as a reminder……

@@zali9657 Hey! I bought back my 2019 RS5 and sold after 5 weeks. Sadly, since I originally owned it I don’t think it was well looked after, multiple rattles, annoying things going on and was hard for me to go back to an older style infotainment system as well. All in all it had to go. Anything I say now is just a preference and opinion, so my question is what are you looking for? The B9.5 had the newer info system, nicer yes, but missed the control wheel as all touch screen now. The black gloss is annoying. I miss the round speedo as well, that’s the best looking imo. There was a lag on throttle response, but I think this just Audi now as my RSQ3 I bought since was exactly the same! Anything else between the two is just a preference.

@@pricey78 I'm gonna go tesdrive a 2019 RS5 this week and see how I like it. Dang I didn't know they got rid of the scroll wheel. But I prefer the B9.5 due to the updated lights and interior tech. I just like the Audi Virtual Cockpit and I need a awd so I can drive it all year. The Google Earth/maps is really helpful especially on Samsung phones with Android

@@zali9657 For the money, go for the B9.5. It is a nice looking car, modern interior, exterior, and will hold a better resale value. I wish I just left my 2019 as an original memory and didn’t buy it again, but hey, that’s life. Even the B9.5, little blips on the throttle still sounds meaty even with a soft limiter. I’ve now got a new BMW M340D, but am currently considering another RSQ3. Problem right now is the UK crisis around APR, market values, silly prices!

Interior of the B9.5 has glossy piano black plastic, which is a greasy fingerprint magnet. Also the touch screen is harder to use than the scroll wheel in the B9 for infotainment

When accelerating they both sound the same opf not much of a problem, I’d probably still get downpipes to free up some sound
2019 by a long way. Looks better and the newer car sounds like a vacuum cleaner, so sad these emission rules have ruined the sound of all Audi RS cars. No point even paying for sport exhaust options - save money and fit an Akrapovic.
The detailed bodywork esp the rear diffuser and front end are a much better design in the 2019 version.......and of course the sound too!!
The b9 just looks better to me.
This was really cool. Love the B9 and the B9.5 sounded not as good to me. Love the bit at the end with the cyclist 😄

B9 gets my vote. Quattro badge, rear diffuser, no piano black interior. The B9.5 headlights are kind of cool though and the metal paddle shifter is a must. I wonder if the B9.5 headlights can be installed on the B9...

2019 looks more aggressive, while the newer is more rounded out in the front and rear. While the interior lacks the infotainment knob, Audi simply gives you a empty bin like compartment that becomes a catch all, while looking very "after thought" or missing option. Vs the 2019's control knob which I feel is better for keeping your eyes on the road, where as pointing and touching a screen tends to draw your eyes to it.

Couldn’t agree more with this comment. I was just saying this the other day comparing my 19 to the 21 i drove for the day and prefer the dial hands down. Way better for keeping eyes on the road and i much prefer the infotainment system on the 19 too. Flat bottom steering wheel every time

Love both. I own a 2020 S5 in Quantum Grey, considering trading for a 2019 RS5. I think I'd actually prefer the non glossy trim around the console and the dial/non touch MMI screen. Anyone know if it's possible to enable wireless iOS carplay in the 2019 RS5 via OBDeleven? Oddly my 2020 S5 doesn't come with wireless carplay stock.. at least I can't seem to get it to work.

I have an 18 s5, weird that you don't have carplay I thought it was standard, you can buy any carlinkitkit I think from amazon for around 100 bucks.

Both are coll But The 2019 is Sound Better and the grill look Real , and Led Matrix look amazing ..

I own the 2021 RS5 Sportback, Daytona Grey, Carbon Fiber Package & launch edition rims (Extra 4k for these) Summer rubber on launch edition, winter rubber on stock rims. I get a chubby everytime I take her for a spin. We go camping at the Virginia Intl Raceway when the SRO is in town. Rent an RV spot. Funny watching people stare as I pull out a tent, pavilion, picnic table, chairs, coolers etc for a 3day race weekend. Woot!! lol

Sportback B9 looks ridiculous Man.. Only Coupe looks ok thats why i chose it when it came out. But that was my last Audi anyways. Loved the B8 but the B9 is the coffin. Thats why i own an BMW M4 now. It drives WAAAAAY better than any Audi. Wont belive? Should try ;)
