    Great video man and very informative. I have on order a 2022 f250 from Billy Howell Ford in Cumming. Suppose to come in around the end of October. I'm new to overlanding but will be modding my truck to an overlanding vehicle. I heard you mention Cumming GA so I assume you are from metro ATL? I'm in Canton GA. With that being said, are there some good places to go camping with my truck in North GA? Thanks and again great video. I'll catch up on all the others. Just subbed...

    With that wide body you must be the width of an f150 by now. Looks cool though. Test drove a tacoma and it drove terribly, lumbering and dog slow so now i am looking at the ranger. I am interested in a much milder build on a supercab to maintain city drivability and parking but get the 6ft bed. Hoping they reveal the next gen soon so i can decide to wait or not. The 2.7 and a bigger gas tank would be great. I would be shocked if the ranger raptor was offered in anything other than a supercrew short bed.

    Awesome ranger! I'm still deciding between a Ranger or Tacoma. Do you think the Rangers engine is reliable for the long term?

  • @NemesisDigitalMedia

    @NemesisDigitalMedia

    3 жыл бұрын

    Ill try to stay unbiased on this because Ive had a super positive experience with Ford platforms for the past 16 years. If you're looking around the 30-40k mark, you wont get any better value in terms of power and features. With that being said, any vehicle even Toyotas can come with its own problems. Look up Tacoma issues on the third gens and youll see they arent without their problems too. In terms of engine and transmission reliability, this is the same trans in the Raptors and coyote Mustangs. They are solid but you got to understand with 10 speeds sometimes the tuning can be off on some of them with all 10 gears. I never really had any issues with mine I notticed, and with tuning through Roush she still drives amazing and is always in the right gear. The engine in this truck is from the high end Focus RS. Not the Ecoboost Mustang. Its fully forged and solid, early RS motor problems were because they put the wrong head gasket in at launch but no Rangers were affected by this. Long term reliability, theres plenty of high mileage eco boosts on stock turbos still. You tend to find people that have the most issues complain on forums, but think about how many trucks are sold, in the scheme of things is really a small amount. A lot of my friends have Rangers and haave beat the shit out of them without problems. The one downside to these trucks is the alternator location.

    How’s it going brother I bought a 2020 Ford ranger brand new back in 2020 and I put a Rough Country 2 1/2 inch leveling kit on it and I was able to squeeze two 65 x 70 x 17 x 9 rim centerline -12. I had to remove the Front and rear intrusion bars I remove 90% of them at the time. I’m just wondering now if I can put two 85 x 70 on my centerline -12 rim , that I love . And not have any rubs. I’ll be going with a 3.5 Rough Country lift kit. I just need to know if all this will work because everybody in Carson City Nevada where I live they are unsure because of the -12. Please help thanks.

    @@NemesisDigitalMedia Thanks, boss. I'm looking at the Xtrusion now, but I'm torn on heights. 18in would bring it right to the top of the cab, but I worry about blocking that third brake light. I wonder if it's easy enough to rig up a light on the rear of the rack....Do you have thoughts on height? I haven't picked out an RTT yet but we'd probably not keep it on all the time.
