Nice! We have the 2019 C-HR XLE version and LOVE it! I also love how it looks. It is our daily and family car and it actually fits in our garage with our other car. Very easy to get around town in and has good pick up especially when you put it into "Sport" mode. The option to manually shift through the simulated gears is a nice touch. It does not make it into a true manual but I do appreciate it. Sadly, the drive modes of "Sport", "Normal" and "Eco" are hidden in the menu screens but they are there. There really should be a dedicated "Sport" button next to the gear select. I also ordered from the dealer and installed the TRD Air Intake Kit as well as the TRD Lowering Springs to improve the stance of the car and increase the horsepower and torque as well as improve the handling. Best of all being a Toyota I know this car will last. You get a lot of car for the money and the safety equipment is very impressive. It feels very solid for a small car. Also, Toyota Care is great! Every car company should offer this! Thanks for sharing. BTW the Nightshade trim looks great with the black roof.

Just ordered this. It is my second CHR. I had a 2018 and my only real complaint was the blind spot but they have fixed that with notification on the mirrors. I changed my CHR to the Toyota Corolla Hatchback and yes, it is more powerful but I did not like how low it was and it seemed that the trunk space was a bit smaller than this. I think this dashboard works better. I’ve never hit my head getting in or out and while I agree it’s not as powerful as the Corolla, I am on and off the highway daily and have no issue getting up to speed and staying there.

Picking up my limited today!!! Can’t wait.

@SmartMotorsToyota this really GREAT warranty package is provided by all car makers and some are 10 years powertrain. So there is nothing extra you provide.

I44 h.p.? My Corolla Hatchback which weighs slightly less than the CH-R has the same(?) 2.0 L. engine but it's rated at 169 h.p. Yes, it's very fast for a Corolla.

The 2.0 liter in the Corolla has a Port and Direct fuel injector in each cylinder. That's why it has 169 H.P. The 2.0 liter in the CHR has only Port injection.

Do these cars have automatic start that’s what I need and how are they in the snow I’m very interested in getting one like this

Sorry, but that was really boring. A very slow recapitulation of lots of features on pretty much all Toyotas.

What a terrible vehicle. Far too under powered and the average person can’t get in or out without banging their head. I think the C stands for concussion. It looks great, has nice bells and whistles but no power. You better hope the highway is empty if you hope to merge onto it!

@1StarProductions I drove it for over 45 minutes. Was seriously considering it. It’s so slow a ten speed could beat it off the line. It has nothing under the hood.couldn’t overtake any car on a 2 lane road. Got passed frequently. I’d be afraid to try merging onto a busy highway as you can’t get up to 100km/h or 60mph before 11 seconds! Cabin is loud as hell when accelerating. Hit my head so often I woke up the next day with a headache. The RAV4 was the far better choice. Toyota is on to something good with this vehicle but it needs a few modifications. Number one being it’s needs a CRAPPIN ENGINE! Does that answer your question sufficiently?

@1StarProductions I’m not joking. It’s the slowest car I’ve ever test driven. I wish the Hybrid were available. It has 180hp and a little more oomph. I would advise staying away from the CHR. It’s not there yet. If you want something in this class Toyota isn’t the answer. I don’t care for the other manufacturers hence why I went for the Rav!

@@icantdecideahandle You should check out the new Mazda3 (if you want some oomph think about the new 2.5 Turbo). It's a smaller car, but has AWD and decent MPG. Plus, Mazda has proven to be quite reliable as of late. I'm seriously considering this car, just waiting on a test drive. I can update if you would like to know how the experience goes. There's also the Mazda CX-5 which is more similar to the CH-R :)

@@kaleb8220 yeah pls do! I'm actually thinking about the Mazda 3, Civic hatch sport, Corolla hatch, and Sentra SR. Those are the cheaper options for me. I particularly like the Mazda 3 because it has an actual stepped gear automatic instead of the CVT. :D
