Very impressive game by Tennessee. If anyone just looks at the final score, they will be mislead by how close this game was. 24 to 31 with 14 min. left in the 4th. My non-expert, off-the-cuff opinion is that the Bama depth chart was too much for TN. (I know, I know.....brilliant insight lol). If CJH matches his recruiting with his coaching, TN may just be back in a couple of years. As a Dawg fan, I think the TN game will be **much** tougher than the UF game.

Lol yes the final score would mislead you to believe it was closer than 52-24. It should’ve been 59-10 two busted assignments and a false start on the tenn receiver on the Jobe touchdown. Stop spewing gamesmanship nonsense.

@@Sour129 the lack of depth on defense is ultimately what lead to that score yeah you can say all you want about the busted assignments on Alabama but TN was in that game until the 4th (which is alot closer than they have been in awhile), that's the only downside to that fast of an offense if you don't have deep depth on defense its going to be a struggle, keep in mind TN lost most of their starters before last season.

@Paul Warren. A tough loss is when a team loses by 3, they lost by 28!! They also lost 14 straight to Alabama, and hasn't been $hit since 98!! They scored the 24 points off busted plays by Alabama's defense!! Tennessee didn't does nothing but get their a$$ kicked again!! Fu*king loser's!!🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

Wow! Just saw this video. I didn't realize how close this game was until lack of substitutions and exhaustion took over.

The first half reminded me of the old Alabama Tennessee rival but then in the fourth quarter you can see that the depth of Alabama really pushed Alabama to the 52-24 Final. I will say this, I don’t believe Alabama has played to the full potential through these eight games especially on defense. I believe this bye week will hopefully get them on track to start playing to their full potential like I said especially on defense. Roll Tide.

ALA isn't going to improve much more, especially with BO as the OC: this is who they are this year. DEF isn't lockdown. Good news is that GA doesn't have much of an OFF & Ohio St doesn't have a defense. OK is iffy. Cincy is over-rated. OR won't do anything.

I hope so. Our defense hasn't been the same since Pete Golding has been the defensive coordinator. I miss the dominant defenses we've had on our previous national championship teams under Nick Saban.

You can't really be that ignorant. Alabama doesn't play with the tempo that Tennessee plays with. They don't need to take injuries.

The first 3 quarters was nostalgic of the old 3rd saturday in october rivalry.

I love how people said Bama was lucky to win this game. It was 52-24 for goodness sakes LOL.

Tell the Georgia fans about how close the National Championship game with Alabama was this same season. Bama actually led it in the 4th quarter. The final margin of victory was 15 points. That’s an ass kicking and I’m a Bama fan.

In the second half, Alabama laid on Tennessee 31 points to UTs 10. 547 yards for BAMA and 341 for UT. All this impressed by UT. Not in the 4th quarter, BAMA had 210 yards in the 4th QTR plus 28 points. UT coach said after film study Alabama basically did whatever they wanted in just one quarter. I am impressed with BAMA's 4th quarter route.

They run an offense that teams aren't experienced in playing!! Yeah, I'm a Bama fan and I'm sure it must be incredibly frustrating to see your team do so badly year after year. Tennessee, once upon a time, was Bama's toughest game of the year, with the exception of the Iron Bowl, of course. But the past decade Tennessee has been damn near a joke of a football team. The only time Saban has ever lost to Tennessee was when he was still coaching LSU. But it's good to see them get a decent coach. It will be better for the rivalry & better for the SEC. And yes, because of the final score I almost didn't watch this. But some of the things Saban said about the game made me curious enough to check it out.

For all the UT fans that are tired of getting hosed by refs with a Bama bias. Below is a comprehensive list of missed Bama penalties and poor officiating decisions. Enjoy lads. :) 3:44 - Holding on center. Slo-mo video of it at 3:59 (Left side of screen) 8:32 - Non reviewed spot out of bounds 9:46 - Obvious holding not called but hands to the face called on UT 11:06 - Holding on #79 (lets go at the last minute. Could go either way) 14:54 - Blatant targeting not even reviewed (Launch and face mask contact commentators got it wrong, not even reviewed) 25:10 - Holding by #79 right side of line 38:34 - Blatant Holding by center #71 39:12 - Clear contact by DB on WR top left of screen 51:05 - False start by TE not called (Left side of line) Similar motion called earlier on UT RB and later on Bama 1:23:55 - BAMA DB #13 grabbing and holding the WR in the middle of the field 1:28:07 - Lineman #73 reaching out and holding/tugging rusher from behind after he has been beat (Left side of line/top of screen) 1:31:16 - Holding by #73 (left side of line) 1:32:30 - Holding by bottom right lineman #76 1:40:26 - Holding by lineman #79 (right outside lineman) 1:46:34 - QB scrambles for a TD and fumbles at the inch line. UT comes out of the pile (player #13) with the ball as seen at 1:47:01. Officiating rules a BAMA recovery with little to no video evidence after not calling a fumble on the field. The only way this can be deemed a recovery by BAMA is video evidence or if they originally called a fumble on the field which was not the case at the time of fumble. UT coach livid at 1:50:35 (Wasn’t discussing timeout as commentators said. He was saying “We came up with the ball”) 1:58:27 - Lineman #78 tackles rusher (middle of line) 2:02:11 - Blatant fowl directly in front of an official by defender #8. He tackles the UT Quarterback by grabbing underneath the side of his helmet. 2:07:05 - #45 false starts (Far right of O-line. Top of screen) 2:10:08 - DB #2 holds the WR from behind with left hand in front of official on missed catch 2:18:12 - DB #15 stabs fingers intro the facemask of TE twice while the TE is on the ground in front of an official. (Middle of screen)
