I have the pre-facelift 150 ps fr 4 drive Ateca :) Quite a car for what its worth.... There are certain bits that are annoying but all in all, Im happy with the car. I prefer the pre-facelift version, especially fr sport inside is better for me, like steering wheel is in black trim unlike in this example here.

Is it noisy on the highway or is this just because of the microphones picking it up?

@@cipiripper no it’s not noisy at all. In fact it’s quiet when your in the car. You are going to get a bit of road noise as the car has 19inch wheels!. It depends what your looking for in a car!. I wanted a sporty style car and a car that you can rag round the corners.I love the car. It handles so well especially around corners. I forget I’m in a suv!. The car is a joy to drive!. It’s really nippy. I chose the Fr sport for the amount of tech you get and also the luxury leather heated electricity adjustable seats which you don’t get on the other models. The cot pit is really cool too. You can have different screen displays on it!. It’s also got a good sound system with good base as I do love my tunes. It has great visibility and is so easy to drive especially the auto version. I’ve got the 1.5 auto.

@@natashabailey5974 Hey I did a test ride, it rides perfectly. And I'm getting a TDI 2.0 FR AWD one, in Black Crystal color, 19' rims, top view camera, park assistant and navi L package. Can't wait to get it. Its a great car! :D

I have black edition 2.0 tsi 4 drive , pre front bump change and joined up writing ateca badge and mine sound nothing like this

I have put a RaceChip. on my 2.0 TSI Ateca. It goes like hell. 250 HP almost.

The car may look good but its drag coefficient is shockingly bad. Barely matches a VW Golf 1.0 at speeds over 140km/h.

Don't know too much about that subject, but isn't that drag coeficient supposed to be the same at any speeds? Drag increases with speed the coeficient stays the same afaik.

Why do you compare a small suv with a hatchback? Compare Golf with Leon and Tiguan (or t-roc) with Ateca.
