The exhaust note of mustangs are very similar between different models with the exception of the 350R. The sound of the flat plane voodoo engine is unique and at 8500 rpm is simply glorious!

Looks nice! The track apps do take some practice to get the best times. And I could not deal with the auto shifting all the time. I have to have a manual and the 6 speed in my 16 GT is great. Good luck with it!

The car doesn’t only have 10 gears for fuel economy. It also has it so the car will stay in it’s power band for longer.

The common consensus with the 10 speed is that it’s really good in the GT with stock power. When you start making more power, it gets a bit confused and the shifting doesn’t make sense. Unfortunately the MT-82 manual transmission in the GT is trash which is what kept me away from the mustang a couple years back. Bought a Camaro SS instead.

The stock ECU is tuned I believe by HP Tuners to be safe so it can run on pump gas. My supercharged 20GT shifts at 7,950 rpm, that's how safe the tune is on the Roush. If the car had a real fuel system, E85 and a tune it would make 800hp at the wheels. The Hellcats make all the torque at a low RPM, the Coyote motors are tiny and make torque at high RPM. That's why the Hellcats feel faster, torque monster (to. move the weight). The Roush cars make about 650.

The Shelby GT350 and 500 both take 5w50 oil as well.

@@normalguysupercar: It is an odd oil, and the Shelby cars take 10 quarts. I have a GT350 and I have been using Lucas Oil’s 5w50 to great effect. Motorcraft, Amsoil, Lucas Oil, and Mobil 1 each have their own 5w50 that people seem to like in their 350s and 500s.

Totally agree with over geared modern trans . Even my 8 speed ZF in my BMW is a couple too many.

I kinda screwed up that test

You have to turn traction and stability off by holding the toggle switch for 5seconds to turn off . Than it will give you full power than what you experienced but hold on tight will loose them tires like butter .l❤ 5.0 ROUSH .

Did you said the Hellcat handle better you guys must be tired. Take a break 800 hp again 750 hp you realize it is only 660 at the rear wheel for the Roush.

I have owned this exact same car and its amazingly fun and fast but just didnt have the soul I desired. I traded it for a viper and couldnt be happier. Edit, thankfully I live close to summit in Arlington because 5w-50 is not all that easy to find.

I'll admit it looks badass. The whole purpose of American muscle is stop light to stop light. In this case, the car fails. Probably due to the transmission, like nearly all American muscle, is crap. Maybe it's better from a rolling 40mph. American muscle generally is for bad credit people that don't better in my opinion. Trump voters should love it!

@@EagleLTSS NOOO... not a fan of Tesla. I think the F430s with the manual conversion are my favorite examples of not boring but still fun and useful. :) My neighborhood is thick with Teslas, Mercedes and Porsches. The Tesla seems a perfect little car for running errands around town.
