Thank you Professor West. I'm a South African and most of your words I relate to. You have altered my way of looking at the world..
God bless Brother West!🙏
Thank for your gift Dr. West.
This is a powerful video! Thank you, one of the things I love about him is how he talks about our humanity being perfectly imperfect. That looking to men is to put us at risk for making them false gods, but if looking towards our universal humanity and love, struggling with our own darkness, we can come to a place of true unconditional love and service that lifts us all as a species! Thank you for this!🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
It's difficult to find words to match the gift that has been provided to us through this UPenn Africana Lecture and its guest speaker Dr. Cornel West. My cup is overflowing. Thank you once again for boldly and lastingly illustrating how to Walk Spirit Talk Spirit! God bless all!!
A universal jam session for the justice of love; Dr Cornel West! We love you and thank you for your love!
Your emphasis on the source of your admission into Harvard strikes a powerful chord with me I knew that the source of my education was the hard work and dedication of my parents, Charles Massey and Evelyn Townsley Massey, BUT, what was never spoken about, was the involuntary contributions to my education by profits my family made from the work of slaves and the theft of land from the Native Americans!!! I would shockingly discover this in my great uncle's autobiography in 2017 Since then I have been learning ways to acknowledge these involuntary contributions which were made under great duress and loss of life and liberty!!! Even though there is no way to repay such a great debt, REPARATIONS must be made!!! And, strangely, I now sense the UNMERITED BLESSINGS of the deceased Natives and slaves as I walk through this world and look for ways to share my experience strength and hope KEEP ON PREACHIN' brother West!!!!!
"The moral arc of the Universe is bent at the elbow of Justice." ~ Martin Luther King,Jr.
Brother West is the one giving it ALL with every word!
Sing it Mr West!!😂
Dr West in Philly yea !
Thank you Dr. West! A big virtual hug!
I honor Professor West
It took my a lifetime to arrive where I am and then Cornell West teaches me some more.
Even when he's calling people out, West seems to do it out of love, not vindictiveness. I had to laugh when he mentioned churches never have stained glass windows of Jesus chasing out the money-changers. LOL! The guy is one of a kind who defies description or comparison to anyone else. They don't make them like this anymore
I will watch Cicely Tyson, Shelby Steele, Thomas Sowell and John McWhorter.
I wish my lovely brother would come up to The Evergreen State College sometime..Maya Angelou did in 2016(?) and we were blesssed. Nothing wrong in being Twice Blessed 💞
