    This thing is gorgeous. You don’t need a G-Wagon to show you have money, this is cheaper than a G63, just absolutely beautiful.

    The base GLS 450 has an MSRP of 80K, the GLS580 and 63 AMG aren’t available to order. Used the 580 is 120K to 130K, the 63 however is 165K To 180K. I know this because I’m looking at buying one.

    There is nothing luxurious about waiting 10-15 seconds just to get into the backseat. I guarantee that anyone who owns this and uses the third row frequently will get tired of it real fast.

    I'm gonna bet it's a safety thing. You're dealing with little kids in the back and Mercedes doesn't want any lawsuits over chopped off toes.

  • @Lucky8s

    @Lucky8s

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@_jg00 It's not a safety thing at all and it couldn't be further from a legal one. Apologies for the tone but every automaker with a third row crossover uses manual sliding or folding third row seats. Mercedes did it purely because they believe power seats are a luxury.

    @@tf884 1. Nice. 2. The speed has nothing to do with safety. Power seats are all that slow, whether it's front, middle, or third row. You do have a car, yes?

  • @tf884

    @tf884

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@Lucky8s Oh no. You really think the speed that these seats move isn't intentional? Given the overall complexity of this vehicle, you'd have to be extremely dense to assume that they couldn't have increased the speed of the seat movement if they desired. And yes, speed has everything to do with safety in this case. A seat mechanism that moved quickly, especially if its primarily operated by kids, is an accident waiting to happen.
