2021 Lincoln Corsair Review

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

2021 Lincoln Corsair Review - As part of their brand revitalization strategy, the Lincoln Motor Company is launching a series of new crossover designs, including the mid-sized, 2-row Corsair. It carries many of the same design features and traits of the well-received but larger Aviator and is poised to take on many of the well-established luxury players in this segment.
Lincoln is at a pivotal moment in their history, but vehicles like the Corsair show they are willing to fight to win back much of the market share and brand recognition that they have seen slowly erode over the past decade or so.

I've watched so many reviews and you're the first to bring up the 3 point turn. I wouldn't have thought about that being an issue with the piano keys (and is probably is just a matter of getting used to). I like the seat controls in the door (like other high end brands). The phone chime is a good idea, however, most people, it seems, grab their cell phones before their kids! Nice review all in all. Most reviewers talk so incredibly fast to get all the info in, in a short time, you took your time and I appreciate that!

You said it, Eric! Lincoln vehicles are well executed but with a little fine-tuning they can be exceptional. Have the 2.3 Reserve since 1 year. Have Fast flow forming F4 wheels for the summer and originals shod with winter tires. Been great. Very quick too. Consistently averaging under 9l/100 Km. Waited almost 11 months for TuxMat floor liners (vsWeatherTech in all previous cars) as they were in the process of completing their fitment. Are clearly superior to WT! was worth the wait. First off, good review. Video and sound were really great and the clip had a great flow for the info that was presented. However, I have a suggestion...offer more information about the actual equipment on the vehicle. How big is the center screen? What about that huge panoramic moonroof? Is that standard? You talked about the seats...are those the 24 way adjustable seats? Are they comfortable? Does it have the new version of Sync? What about Android Auto or Apple Car Play? Does it have the Revel audio system? How does it sound? What about the second row? What features are included in the second row? What trim levels are available? Does it have the Co-Pilot 360 system? Heads up display? What's the digital gauge cluster like to use? Does it have standard leather seating? It seems like you focused on talking about Lincoln in general, which is cool, but you left out a ton of detail on the actual vehicle. That's critical for these reviews.

Thanks for the feedback. It's always a tricky balance between providing an overview or an 'everything you need to know about' review. Fans of some models only need the basics, others want everything and then some. Some can't last longer than 5 or 6 minutes, others want a half hour. I've been doing this for several years now and there still isn't a clear path or template that I've found works for all makes, models, styles, etc. In this case I was also pressed a bit for time to shoot so some limitations were there. Anyway, I appreciate the suggestions and I'll keep them in mind!

@@KM-lz2ch It's also good to get different perspectives. I know many of my colleagues in Canada and a few in the U.S. We have a lot of similar views on things but we also have a lot of different ones as well. Each of us bring our unique perspective which emanate from our own unique backgrounds. People looking to find info on a particular model probably are best served by hearing more than one perspective. Motors, and transmission are proven. My wife’s 2016 Escape with the 2L engine gas been the most reliable car we’ve ever had including my Lexus L. After 1 year am taking my Corsair in for it’s first oil change.....hasn’t used one drop in 10000 Km. Being fussy I “see” my steering “off center” by maybe? a couple of mm, and asked them to have a look. I’m also not sure the stop start is working and asked them to look at that as well. If that’s on your list of “reliability” well you’re even fussier than I am. “Stuff” easily taken care of during normal servicing does not, in my opinion, bear the same weight as a stalling engine for example. All the while I’ll be able to go about my day normally as my dealer has reserved a courtesy car for me.....no charge of course.
