Looking much better than maruti Dezire + Honda reliability + 4 star Global NCAP safety rating + CNG( on the way). Govt should remove 1.2L tax rule from petrol engine so that we can get 1.5L in this car.

Sir, Can you suggest me a Petrol Manual Car ? 60 % city + 30% Highway + 10% Hilly areas. Descent mileage required. Confused with Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2 MT or Tata Nexxon XM(S) or Vitara Brezza VXI ( less preferred ) . Which one should I go for ?

Honda makes fantastic cars. All it has to do is provide good ground clearance, that will make it sell a lot of cars.

Cars without adjustable headrest is a deal breaker for me.

I haven't given attention or looked out for Sedans for sometime now, since SUVs and MPVs are ruling the market for few years. This compact sedan looks sleek, simple and elegant, good job Honda. Sedans are gone out of favor drastically, soon they may become extinct or we'll just have 1 or 2 models from every manufacturer, times did change real fast.

Hi.. I saw the review, my comment is projector bulb is seems slightly bigger than than the head light. According to design front side is to develope to match the compitency. Even tail lamp also needs to modify to match the compitency.

90PS 110Nm Petrol CVT or 80PS 160Nm Diesel CVT which one will be good in pickup & power ?

I just bought the car for the look.. its beautiful and compact enough for city traffic and complex parking spots. Love this car !!

Still no adjustable headrest at rear. That's the only reason I am not looking at this car. What was Honda thinking again ?

Even City Zx don't have one

I have been driving an Amaze i-dtec V CVT since June '18. Road noise was the only complaint I had then. Now, it is chauffeur driven and I occupy the rear seat. I realise the absence of adjustable rear headrests and rear AC vents. Suspension is not great for rear seat occupants too. Aah! A cabin light placed at the center is sure a bad design.

Sriprakash ji, I resound your views as I have been driving a V CVT since 2018 (top model at that time) and I can tell you the transmission is seamless and effortless BUT very light body, ok ok suspension, very very bad wipers, almost no visibility with lights, door noise, minor finish misses eg the glove box doesn't seal well once closed, my door handle broke... Yes broke within two years (cost 8 grands for a new one), poor noise insolation-you will not just hear but feel wind (noise) inside the car....oh my I can go on and on... Because a little bit of improvement would have made me love my car even more.. And yes, I did buy an armset from the dealer... Its functional but has low height..ufff Too sensitive for my car but you know what's not good is not good

Which color looks the premium?

Cosmetic upgrade are good but what this car needed the most was better cabin insulation and suspension tuning to more firm ride. Honda seems to have neglected both in a otherwise great car.

When we can expect CNG version of Honda Amaze ?

How is the car for long drives for tall persons? I am 5ft 11 inches tall

It doesn't have basic wifi or navigation feature, even in top variant also

The rim is carried over from the previous generation Honda City (base variant) here in Philippines.

Amaze global ncap rating is better than tigor tiago in adult occupancy..so it can be a very good option in safe cars..

This one oozes elegance through its Design. I mean u could easily mistake it for an expensive sedan like the Honda Accord or even the older Mustang..

They fulfilled the missing items from exterior design... Now it's complete look

Only proportional sub 4 metre compact sedan.

The front profile gives a bit clue about the civic's front profile.

Honda always cut cost in corners where the most important rear adjustable headrest, a fluid touchscreen infotainment system, rear ac vents, come on honda give us wat we need the most...

Sensible. Practical. Easy to drive. Perfectly AMAZEing. Tigor & Amaze are my favorites in this segment. BTS: Nikhil asking for "Shuru se?" reminds me of my Viva exams when I forgot something & my teacher told me "Shuru se!". I can feel Nikhil's pain.😄

Arm rest with rear AC missing

I baught the amaze in january 2021 and on 15th day of usage i got the reverse gear not working , when i tolt the dealers that to replace my car with new car they did't hear that and they changed my whole gear box...and after all in previous month (july) i got same complaint as reverse gear not working.... pls help... what can i do now ? now still my car is in showroom....2 times gear box complaint for a new car within a year.... and still they saying they can't replace my car with a new car.... what will i do?plss help me with suitable advice.... plss don't buy this car

Apart from Rear ac everything can be found in aftermarket. This is a great car with probably one of the best interiors under 10L but misses some very basic features which is stupid

Rear ac vent is not required in a sub 4m car

Not adjustable headrest at rear....No Rear Ac vents....are 2 big cons

Don't look at the negatives, be happy instead we get a sedan (C) at below 10L onroad, while many premium hatchbacks are still above 10L* :) :) :)

Honda brand is best , but I still prefer my swift dizer 2015 model Silky Silver 1,13.L kms still going strong as new.. 20kmpl in highways... 16kmpl in city... and moreover a good fortune...😊

Autocar its a request to please start a companion regarding formula 1 future in india we have everything. Autocar is a brand now and everyone knows about it if you started talking to higher authorities they will listen to you.. please for formula one

This amaze is far far better than highly overpriced Hyundai i20 .Look ,Engine and ride quality is best in the class and also best among premium hatchbacks if compared with .

I have driven both ,you can definitely feel amaze is smaller compared to elite i20. Also in highways I found i20 is better in terms of stability and confidence. They both belong to different segment , you should compare it with aura, because the wheelbase is bigger for i20. Comparing them feels apples and oranges to me 😎

i20 is more spacious, more features and comfort, more refined, better milage.... i have tested both cars....amaze biggest plus point is its shape and boot space.

Only con is it's price

Although it's just a cosmetic update and pretty expensive but it's still best in it's segment.Aura is ugly.Tigor is good but not the best and the only thing Dzire is good at is the fuel efficiency,So I think this strikes the perfect balance.

Aura is the ugliest car in indian market

speakers are big let down. Two of them making mrmr sound within 4 months of purchase

Rear Headroom is a constraint for taller passengers, for the same reason Jazz is much better than Amaze

It is due to product level of this quality in this segment that's lead to the growth of Sub Compact SUVs!! 😛.. Sub Compact Sedan segment itself is boring with duds..

Honda also will exit Indian car market if they think their brand name will help them and if they don't update their design flaws. Looking at this Amaze, it's disappointing to see them go back. Despite this, Honda is optimistic of sales by hiking prices with huge margins especially for diesel

Please review Honda Jazz, also can you educate indian consumers to not focus on faltu features like Sunroof & wireless charger. Instead focus on the fundamentals & long term reliability of the car. Honda & Toyota are amazing car manufacturers but indian consumers have forced them out and they don't offer other great products such as Corolla cross & hrv types.

I'm using Honda amaze CVT petrol automatic 1.2L Naturally aspirated engine from the last 9 months. Only reason i bought it is due to CVT. Getting mileage of 10.5kmpl in city and 11.5 on highway which is way too less when travelling with 2 members . Car feels underpowered while travelling with 5 members with luggage, we here revving sound while accelerating and car takes time to move faster. Not a car for car enthusiasts. Overall not much satisfied for the purchase of 11L. Should have opted 1.2L turbo cars or a minimum of 1.5L NA engine.

I would still prefer the dated ASPIRE with evergreen TDCi over this soft toy. Still remember the day 2 years back from now when I drove the AMAZE and ASPIRE back to back, only enthusiats can understand the driving dynamics and the strong pull of the TDCi.

Buy Skoda Rapid Rider instead. A proper sedan.

I dont think so compact sedan will shine anymore, because now a days people are looking for small size SUVs, as compact SUVs demolished Csegment sedans now small size SUVs are demolishing compact sedan segment, I would suggest wait for TATA HBX/ PUNCH to launch, its a better option compared to these cars

It's a down for me from Honda Amaze. Come on idiots it's not hard to give atleast headrests for rear passengers because people in India use back seats a lot and it should me mandatory.
