Now remember guys he seems to have modded his story mode so a assassination mission or two may have the most accurate price ranges

It's all about timing. Make sure to sell your stocks during the morning or late in-game hours (around 5 pm - 8 am) as in real life the stock market would be closed and your stocks wouldn't go up or down :)

It might seem that way because some missions do affect the market but regardless of the time or day of the week specific stocks react to specific missions, therefore you should get the same results whatever time you choose to do them or whatever the stock price is, if it's at $100 and it's supposed to give you a 100% profit it will go to $200, if it's at $120 it'll go to $240, don't pay much attention to the price, the return won't change

I followed this guide step by step and ended up with Franklin: $ 1,043,554,281 Michael: $ 1,222,841,344 Trevor: $ 1,079,194,496 Works just fine as of October 2021. Thanks @Old Grumpy Gamers. 👍

Thanks, @@tmmjaydoc4875. 95% of the time, this is because of mis-timing the market - typically not waiting long enough for the sells. 4% of the time it's because you've gone in with too little cash (not waited for the $20 mil payout after the finale, or spent up before doing the investor run) and lastly 1% of the time it's a bug :-( Do you have a save available from AFTER the finale, but before you started the Assassinations?

I really want to thank the makers of this video! This method delivers and then some! I adjusted it a little bit because Michael and the other 2 Characters are so far from each other in cash amount that I decided to dive for the 25K hidden money suitcase off the coast and then quick-save/reload a whole freaking bunch of times until I matched Michaels 3,3 Million with the other two. I never spend any money on weapons, got them all from the map for free. So I had the full amount of cash to dive into this tutorial. I ended up with MAX cash on all 3 characters and a **** load of Gold Coast stock still in the portfolio. Basically I ended with 3,2 Billion each, just can’t convert the rest to cash now because of the limit. Great stuff!!! Thnx so much!

Thanks a lot! I actually surpassed the limit with michael before the construction assasination, with trevor and franklin i'm about to also so yeah really thankfull! The percentages were pretty similar but my augury trade got a 300% in price and i also did some trades by myself so following this guide and diciding yourself some other trades for me worked awesome!

This is an AWESOME, and seriously underrated video, thank you! Made around $34 million with each character on the final heist and kept all three characters after the finale. The Augury Insurance one I can definitely confirm. I waited 2 in game days and netted a 100.25% return, doubling all of my characters money to around $68.5 million each. Moving forward now with the assassination missions to net SERIOUS gains. You can complete the first assassination mission to progress the story but after that one you can save them until after you've completed the finale. Figured that out in a recent playthrough. Update: After the Debonaire investment, I went from $68 million to $111 million. Then after Redwood investment, went from $111 million to a cool $488 million, a roughly 334% increase! Still going! Another update: Completed the Vice and Bus Assassination quests and investments and now all three of my characters have a little over $1.5 billion dollars, onto the last part. Final update: Upon completion of the final assassination, and investment, all three characters now have the maximum amount of money possible for a player to hold at once with hundreds of millions of more dollars waiting to be cashed out! Although this takes some time and strategy, this is so worth it, I've never had this much money on story mode, and honestly didn't know it was possible. Thank you so much, you've made this playthrough the best one so far!

If you choose the right crew and approach for The Big Score you'd get $41'6M instead of just $34M

I didn't know about the Gruppe6 one, thanks. It's pretty silly how even when missing some trade windows you could still reach the max easily. I'll be sure to include to small tick in Animal Ark seconds after the reward email is sent, the airport hitchhiker event stocks as well. I'm definitely starting the game over again so that I can buy absolutely everything, remain at max money, and still have one stock mission left over.

@@OldGrumpyGamers Yeah it's not really worth risking unless you don't mind wasting time with save scumming. The stock goes from 89k to 112k if the game is feeling generous but after that it dips rapidly. I'll just load all the protagonists and leave them inside a building so they don't go anywhere while I wait for the reward email.

Followed this guide step by step worked great and ended up with all characters well over $2 billion, Only thing i noticed while doing so was most of the time the prices of stocks were very different for example when buying the fruit stock i bought at only $5, so my prices were different but % returns on investments were exactly the same as video, thanks for the help👍🏻

Thank you so much, I've had this video open in another tab for about a week while I progress through the story again, and was able to get $2,147,000,000 on all characters. I found that the prices change but the percentages they increase by is fairly consistent. One thing, with the bawsaq stocks for some reason I found myself skipping more like 6-7 days of ingame time until the percentages came, so I guess you need to be patient. Really appreciate the effort put into the guide!

I find the same thing. Prices seem to vary by playthrough but percentage swing is the same every time. Some of the older guides don't have the percentages right though. They've either patched some of it or it just isn't the same on next gen console as older gens. I played on PS5 and one guide kept telling me I'd get 85% return on one stock, but it never went above 45 after many retries.

End of 2021, and this still works. Ended up with $2.1 B on Michael and $1.7 B on Franklin and Trevor. I'm pretty new to the game and probably missed some opportunities with Franklin and Trevor, but I still have more money than I'll ever use. Thanks for this.

A bug I found was the stock price stayed the same or only increased slightly after each sleepsave, to remedy just click sell all then cancel and the value should go up

Do you think that is enough chedda for T in particular to get started in the Hotel Assassination investments? Or should I keep collecting briefcases until I reach $10M? As of this time the Sonor Collections Dock is not available for purchase. However, I do have access to a submersible over near the Lighthouse on the NorthEastern side of the map.

Thanks, @@logandevine4225. Don't worry too much about pricing; it changes from playthrough to playthrough (it's the timing that matters). For maximum cash, do the Hotel Assassination when it comes up; but leave the rest until after you've completed the final story-line mission (and been paid).

I dont know what to say tbh, the guide is good, its very detailed and overall a very nice video. I have followed its every single step by step, opening it before almost every mission to make sure Im doing it right. But and this is one big but, not a single one of the things said in this guide, not a single one go according to the plan. My numbers are literally completely all over the place, values for the stocks them selves are of by hundreds, the gains once the stocks change havent been anywhere near the numbers said in this. For example Auguary Insurance never dipped after the Finale, never not at a single point. Even tried to load a save before the Finale and try again but no, it stayed at a whopping 800 ish per stock and stayed there, only jumping up and down for about 25-50 bucks like almost all the stocks do on a daily basis. I only made 16% from Redwood........ These are only the few examples.

Thanks, Bilbo. As it turns out, the pricing is randomised (to a degree) for each playthrough. The percentages typically stay similar to a point, though. Just bear in mind R* have nerfed the Stock Exchange so you can NEVER top out at more than $2.1 Bn.

How much money to start the exchanges? Edit: I know there is a difference in values ​​for each player, but based on your experience, what is the exact amount to start these activities?

Thanks, Saibot. As much as you can muster... Do the Epsilon Missions, Maud Missions, Nuclear Waste Missions and the Secret Packages; whatever you have _after_ that will be enough to get you started. The game may adjust percentage gains along the way to help you out, too.

Thanks, Craftinator. OK, so what you need to do AFTER you've completed the main story line, but BEFORE starting the second Assassination mission, is buy Debonaire with all three characters. (see 4:56) Once you've completed the second Assassination mission (the Multi-Target Assassination); wait 18 to 24 in-game hours (36 to 48 IRL minutes, or you can use the time-skip exploit seen at 2:27); and sell your Debonaire stock at about 40% above what you paid. ...then wait for Redwood to dip (around 24 to 36 in-game hours). Once it's dipped, purchase Redwood with all three characters, again. Wait 3 to 4 in-game days; and sell at around 300% to 330% of what you originally paid. To maximise you're cash, you'll need to repeat this process for each Assassination Mission, using the stocks we've detailed in this guide.

I got a pretty good return on the debonair stock (I didn’t do it perfectly but I’m sitting on $37 mil each character) but I just can’t figure out the whole redwood part. I’m just gonna create a save slot here and maybe try again another day.

@@OldGrumpyGamers I finished the rest and the construction stocks were also a lil wonky for me but I still ended up with around 190 mil each which is still plenty to enjoy the game. I bought all the property’s and all the vehicles and guns I could ever need. I never thought anyone could ever actually get enough to buy the golf course but this helped me get there

"Only" $1.9bn. Love it, EQ. Glad you maxxed it on your latest playthrough :-)

For the record, the small time reward missions (such as Trevor's bounty hunter missions) mean nothing. After the Big Score players should have at least $38 million to work with. After completing The Third Way, invest everything in Augury Insurance and sell it when it reaches ~100% increase. That is the step people are missing and it's done BEFORE doing the assassination missions (except for, obviously the Hotel assassination). I'm doing a playthrough now and have the last assassination mission pending still, and I've already got $1.5 billion for all my characters.

@@IceDweller68 There's no limit that I'm aware of. In fact, you have to do the Hotel Assassination to progress in story mode at a certain point. Of course you want to invest properly just so you can have as much money as possible until the Big Score is completed. I think most people have $38-$41 million after the Big Score. Then you'll have options of 1) killing Trevor, 2) killing Michael, or 3) Death Wish. I'm not sure if your choice makes a difference there, but every time I pick Death Wish, and as soon as I'm done I invest every penny in Augury. You'll double your money in a few days. Then you can start the other assassination missions, following the assassination investment guide (of course). BUT if you invest in Augury before doing the other assassination missions you will have $75-$82 million to start with, which makes hitting the maximum ($2,147,000,000) far easier. Hope this helped. Be sure to save before each progression in your investing.

I simply went with only Multiple assassination and Construction and ended with about 480 million each. Tbh i kinda lost it with multiple assassination cos i had to replay it few times cos stocks were bugged but still got more than i will ever get to spend in single player mode.

I never knew about these other investments, I thought it was only possible to invest through Lester's missions. Thanks for the tip, I went back to re-playing GTA V for the third time recently, first I was finished it at the time of xbox 360 first i did 100% in story mode at that time, then i re-purchased the game in 2017 the remaster version of xbox one i did 100% in story mode again, now recently after I have returned to re-play he I intends to do the same .

This actually works. The prices of the stocks will be different by a lot BUT the % return will be more or less the same as said in the video. For example instead of 300% i was able to get 366%. It will vary on your game so keep an eye on the stock. Do a manual save before any mission in case you mess up on the stock by waiting too much and the price suddenly drops. If that happens, then just load the previous save and do the assassination again. Nice guide and I was able to max out the money on all characters. If ever you aren't able to sell all your stocks it means you will be getting more than 2.1B at once so the game does not allow it. Sell it unstead in 2 portions.

Thank you for this guide. Worked well.. too well. I'm at the 2.1 cap on all characters with plenty left in the markets. One small addition that someone may have already pointed out. All 3 characters have different sleeping periods if you're trying to progress time. Michael is 6hrs, Franklin is 8hrs and the methhead Trevor is 12hrs.

Sounds like a great excuse to do anther playthrough, Jeremy.

I know everyone has different numbers but when your about to buy/sell, how do you know when the right time to do so is? If following your guide, do you try and buy/sell when the individual price is close to yours? Do go off of what the return % number is? I'm trying to do the steps in the first assassination but it doesn't seem like I make much off the return.

Thanks, @@Marco-sm3bo. TO do this, go to bed with any character, then exit the save screen WITHOUT saving. This jumps time forward (6 hours for Michael / Franklin; 12 for Trevor), without taking a save slot.

The key is to watch this video and maybe read a guide as well. If you think you’re gonna get the exact numbers as this guy you’re gonna go crazy…but I followed this video and after the Multi everyone has 240 mil plus so I’m real thankful

Thanks, Hunter. You HAVE to do the Hotel Assassination, but that's it. You can do the remainder of Lester's missions after the main story line.

The only issues I'm having here is the Augury insurance one, I've completed the mission and the final heist but the price is at like 836 dollars and rising.

This guide has been amazing mate genuinely, was looking for a video not made a decade ago and stumbled across yours and it's been brilliant. Re did it, be careful entering the trailer as Trevor just after the money is given, when you speak to his mum, think that's what messed it up. Bought at 377.01, sold at 905.04. Made (BEFORE ASSASSINATIONS) 112 Million each character from the 42ish million each had after the Union job. Absolutely buzzing.

Thanks, LOJIXX. Vangellico dipped after Michael's robbery, so it won't "go down". Instead, it makes a recovery after an insurance payout that happens around the same time Minor Turbulence does, in the story line.

Don't wait till the big score mission to do the Lester assassination missions. The old method is you make $2.1 billion per character, but your never going to spend it. I started the missions when Franklin had $1.2 million he got $45 million. Trevor had $6 million, ended up with $200 million enough to buy the golf course and still plenty left over. Michael Had $12 million, ended up with $350 million. This was all before the big score. Do it early on and enjoy the businesses while still progressing to the end of the game.

I appreciate the thought on this one, Dan; but playing the story isn't the only thing you can do in this game. Granted $595m is A LOT of coin; but the point of this is to absolutely maximise revenue. If you're a completionist (like me), story-mode modder, if you're into tricks or just enjoy being in the world; there's still plenty to do around Los Santos, after the main storyline finishes.

@@JeremyTehPunkCat You don't even have to do the side mission of Epsilon with Michael for the extra $2 million unless you want to. After the first heist Michael will have $1.2 million, Franklin will have about $300,000. After businesses become available, get Trevor to buy the sonar dock. Afterwards he'll be at a $1 million. Then do the Lester assassination missions. You have more than enough to buy all the businesses. Trevor even bought the golf course with a few others and still had $20 million left over.

MICHAEL $2,147,483,647 FRANKLIN $2,147,483,614 TREVOR $2,147,483,627 I have two things to mention. First, almost every trade had different starting and finish prices but yielded the same return %. Second, when time came to sell the last stock for Michael it did not sell all shares. So I sold off a small amount of shares first then it let me sell all shares. Be careful and save your progress. Finally, Michael had $2M more to work with due to the Epsilon score yet he came within a few hundred dollars of the other two. Also the digits are identical up to the last 3 figures. HMMMM

If you want to really maximise gains, choose Option A (Trevor); which gives Michael and Franklin an additional $10 million each.

Okay so I did this but before you start the Lester missions go to the money glitch and dive back to back till you have at least a million. I had a billion 1.9B before the final Lester mission, now to invest in Gold Coast!

I wanna tell trick to you guys there is a stock called augury insurance it is always up but if you see it is a little bit down invest your money sleep next day you will get profit I made 300 million then save it then load the same saved file and it is a glitch it went down and then you invest your all money again make profit and repeats the process.

Worked like a charm, and I had so much money on Michael, when I had to sell the Vapid stocks after the bus assasination, I bought all the guns and business I wanted with him and still had about 500 mil in Vapid stocks.

Right when I popped on on my screen I switched to Trevor to invest him first and then Franklin, but then it left as I switched back to Franklin so I had to reload the game and invest Trevor hours before the event happened. I invest with Franklin right before it happened. It only takes a couple in game hours to get the 33% return, which is quick!

after completing the guide and doing the fly us mentioned below i was able get every character 2 bil. the prices weren't the same though for many of the stocks im on ps4 but the important part is to pay attention to the return percentage you're supposed to get. after doing this tho it glitched my stock market and the last two investments dont disappear on my portfolio and i also think the game caps u at 2.14 bil since my michael should of had 4 bil since i had 2 already when i did the final investment

Thanks, Carrot. Sure, if you want to maintain that finer-grained control, absolutely. You could also go the other way for some of the bigger jumps, too (ie, swap to Trevor for 12 hour jumps for the longer waits, then to Michael for fine tuning)

There is definitely a net gain for the submarine missions. Buy the Sonar Collections Dock on the North West corner of the map for $250,000. Yes it’s an expensive purchase, but once you have it you will get paid $23,000 for each barrel of Nuclear Waste collected. There are 30 in total making you $690,000 and you’ll also receive a $250,000 bonus for collecting all of them. That’s a total of $940,000 profit AND you now have a submarine. This is possible before Hotel Assassination.

Thank you so much! This guide was concise, detailed and got all of my characters to $1.7 Billion. One thing I will say is that my stock prices were vastly different from the ones detailed in this video. For example with Redwood cigarettes my prices were around the $200 mark as opposed to the very cheap $10 listed in this video, and this happened with every single stock for every single assassination, however the percentage profit return for each investment was the same as listed in the video, which is weird... Anyway just wanted to say thanks, it's so much fun spending all the money on literally anything I want, very annoyed each character only gets one garage, because I want every car :)

The difference on stock prices has to do with which version of the game you are playing, from what I understand. The PS3 had much better returns than the PS4 version on some stocks (the PS4 returns were nerfed in some instances). You just have to keep a close eye on the stock and manage your saves accordingly (if you miss a peak, reload a previous save and sell at a higher value). Also, I'd recommend going on a huge buying spree before the last assassination mission. You should have about $1.5 billion at that point, and the next assassination investment will push you well over the $2.1 billion limit. So that means go buy everything you can, and the next investment will STILL push you to $2.1 billion, or very close (even if you bought the golf course at $150 million!).

Definitely nerfed, all these market share prices are way lower from my experience, Gold Coast was worth $40 a share, and I sold vapid for a max of $2

The maximum amount of cash can get is $2,147,483,647 per player (literally the larges 32-bit number that can exist); _however_, if you do the Tinkle investment, and a few others you might find in the comments, you can get to this number _and still have stock in the market_ which can _effectively_ get you to $3 Billion.

Pre-mission preparation: As Michael (Optional): Strangers and Freaks: The Truth missions, while betraying the Epsilon Program during the finale; $2,009,500 (net profit). As Trevor (Optional): Random Event: Altruist Camp Shootout; $103,000. Random Event: Drug Shootout; $10,000 - $100,000 (formerly weekly, now only one time, see Drug Shootout's EDIT information). Strangers and Freaks: Maude's Bail Bond missions; $20,000 - $40,000, depending on tactics. Strangers and Freaks: Nigel's Vinewood Souvenir mission The Last Act; $10,000, by letting Al Di Napoli live. Purchase the McKenzie Field Hangar: $5000 for Arms Trafficking Ground and $7000+ for Arms Trafficking Air each time. You have to buy it every time twice Example Invest in lifeinvader for 20$ Its gonna dissapear Then you invest in lifeinvader again for the full amount and your going to see your investment

I can't stress this enough, ​@@kandradinero6177. This is NOT NORMAL. When you make an investment, it shouldn't "disappear"; you shouldn't have to buy things twice. I strongly suspect your installation is borked.

Thanks, Nikhilesh. It's entirely possible AUG has been nerfed in your playthrough; I've found that if you have a higher balance going in to that purchase, it may yield a lower return to keep you around that $2.1B mark.

Currently following this guide and loving it. Very clean and concise. I found one error(?). I just finished the Gruppe stock trade. The price was at the lowest immediately AFTER Fresh Meat. I purchased at this point, save scummed till max profit and made 30% profit upon selling. I don't know if the timing was different for some reason or if this was a mistake. Regardless, don't buy Gruppe stock until after Fresh Meat. Then you get 30% instead of 15-20%. :)

OK, @@_pathak; that means you need to link your Rockstar Social Club account to your game. Once you've done that, the BAWSAQ exchange will unlock and you'll have access to everything. kzread.info?search_query=link+rockstar+social+club+account+to+gta+5

@@OldGrumpyGamers Thx for the response! I’m currently trying to accumulate 1m for both Trevor and Franklin, and I’ve soon completed the Epsilon with Michael which will make his total 3,3m. Doing this pretty early in the game and I’m trying to maximise the gains of the Hotel Assassination. If you have any tips please let me know, love the videos ❤️

You need to sign in to Rockstar Social Club. BAWSAQ won't work unless you are. Thats also why some people buy stock that just disappears.

@@juthan0 I signed in to the Social club and linked it with my gamer tag, but GTA 5 says that it isn’t connected, is there anyway I can fix that?
