I bought the same truck (6.2L) in Cayenne Red Tintcoat. 2021 GMC Sierra AT4. 1) anyone who pays MSRP is a fool. Expect around $54,500 out the door fully loaded. 2) the Goodyear Duratrac tires are noisy at ALL speeds, but overall an excellent tire for an A/T 3) the Rancho shocks are really soft 4) the Auto start/stop is annoying...but, can be disengaged 5) the 6.2L with the 10-speed is AWESOME! 6) the front seats are thinly padded 7) kickin' Bose sound system 8) brakes are phenomenal. These trucks are a blast to drive...had 14" of snow/ice in my area. This truck was EXCELLENT during that event. IMHO -- very good truck with a killer powertrain (6.2L) that has some annoying appointments from the factory that can easily be rectified (like taller/better tires, replace the rear shocks, memory foam seat cushion, for example). Many find the interior dated. It could be better, but after you own it...it grows on you (very functional and it all works without needing a PhD to figure it all out).

Thinking of getting a 2020. Is it reliable? It seems like the engine issues happens mostly on the 5.3?

Bought a Carbon Pro March 2. Was not looking for diesel but my god the power is so impressive I cannot explain. 7000lb trailer was effortless.

I just saw your 3 review clip in row really liked how you explain everything and the most part I like the camera options how you explained Subscribed and liked ....... keep it up buddy

Love the camera work! Other walk arounds have a guy in the wind with a weak wrist shaking the camera in portrait mode and didn't even bother to wipe the lens. This is amazing looking!

I just bought one just like the one in the video. One bad ass truck. I added the GM Performance Exhaust & Cold Air Intake, Ready lift 2 inch lift with new heavy duty upper control arms & 35X12.5X20 BFG All terrains. Out of all the trucks I have owned this one tops the list. Its like having a Corvette, the interior is top notch & the horsepower is there. Nice job GMC

What package includes the step bars?

My buddy has this truck, it is amazing, drives like a sports car, the steering is very direct and confidence inspiring, the suspension is dialed, it is a rocket ship, and glides over the road, way too easy to speed because you don't feel like you're going that fast. I drive a tundra and this thing blows it out of the water.

2 months ago I went looking for a new 2021 Z71 Trail Boss, I came home with the 2021 AT4, same truck as this one in the Cayenne Red Tintcoat. Minus the rear slide window and moonroof. It was used with just under 6800 miles on it. After all said and done, tax, interest and all with the "Forever" package of $900, I'm paying $65,000. Plus it still has the factory 50,000 mile/3 year warranty on it. I think I got a good deal on this one.

Another great review. Test drove an Elevation the other day and gotta say it drives super smooth. I could really feel the power. GMCs are still outta my price range though, haha. Think you can find one in Brownstone Metallic to review?

I'm filming on an iPhone 12 pro max in 4k HDR 10 bit using the Filmic Pro app (filmic quality) and mounted to a Movi Cinema Robot. I color grade all of my footage using a custom color profile that I normally use with my Cine4 Sony setup in PP Lumetri Color. My audio is recorded externally on a Zoom H1 with Rode microphone, and then I edit that with a custom vocal profile I had made a few years back. I'm planning on getting back into shooting Broll on my Sony to spice things up a bit...we'll see. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!

What’s the payload on this spec truck?

Thank you for this in depth explanation of everything on this monster! We literally just bought one Easter weekend and are still trying to figure stuff out. Technology is great when you know how everything works. I have a question on the navigation. We notice while driving in San Antonio that it's hard to hear over the radio, in my vette the radio volume would go down and I was able to hear the driving directions perfectly, but on the Sierra it does not and it's hard to hear.Am I doing something wrong. Thanks in advance.

Hey Norma, thanks for the kind words and watching my video! Congrats on the new truck as well. I believe if you turn up the volume when the navigation voice is speaking it should turn the volume up. If you turn the knob when the radio is playing it will only affect the radio volume not the nav. The volume knob will only control the audio which is currently coming out of the speakers. Hope that makes sense and helps you out!

What is the higher Trim Level. The GMC Sierra AT4 or the GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate Package? Also, what is the GVWR of these two trucks? My current truck’s GVWR is 7200 lbs. I don’t want to go less than that!

Hey Chris, someone actually commented on my post today that they purchased a carbon pro and struggled to find a bed cover for it. They ended up finding one made by Extang, so that might be a good place to start. Thanks for watching Chris, hope your year is off to a good start!

Here's the only (that I can think of right now) couple of issues with the carbon pro bed. No drop in rubber mat. You buy a standard bed mat and have to cut it. Second, if you want any bed cover that requires you to be able to clamp on a lip under the sides it's not happening without this exception. There is a guy making some mounts that bond to the bed under an edge. Those are $250 alone, then you need to be sure the installer stands by it. I have the 2021 carbon pro denali with the 6.2 and everything but the performance package. I found out I couldn't have the dealer get the electric roll back cover because of the bed design. Otherwise, I love this thing and I didn't set out for the the carbon pro. It just happened to be the only thing I had to work around on a vehicle that had everything else I wanted.

Does the ‘21 have rain sensing wipers? Adaptive cruise control?

The cruise control is nice, it brakes a little too much and sometimes it senses a car parked on the side of the road and slows down for it.

Can GMC make the whole rear window slide up and down for those who put a bed cap on. I sure can't fit thru that small hole anymore. Lol

@@samh4746 my concern is if they offer Cadillac’s Super Cruise next year only to Chevy Hight Country and GMC Denali. It’s the next level that has autonomous driving (hand free). Chevy will also get the new tailgate option

For $66,000 and the amount of technology included in the package, the touchscreen is drastically undersized for the expected features it’s aimed to support. What’s the point of high definition cameras if you have to view them through a small screen? I’m also bummed that they haven’t started turning the screens in the dash slightly to the driver for easier viewing. The kicker sound speakers in the tailgate are useless and would drop the price if the engineering wasn’t wasted on it. Still a great truck I’m in the market for, but I’m just shocked at the decisions they’ve made at the target price of a well upgraded HD2500.

Seems there’s a misconception about the CarbonPro package. It’s NOT a carbon FIBER bling package. It’s the carbon fiber type bed which is lighter, the badging, and upgrades some other items in the infotainment and Driver alert packages if they were not selected/ordered through other packages.

This really tests my patience man, trying to wait for the Tesla truck, but this is something to consider as well. Wish my wallet's a little bigger tho, damn it!

@@Hampfam If your 2015 has been a good truck, I say stick with GMC, lol. I have a 2010 1500 that I love with the 5.3 and it has 240,000 miles. One fuel injector and ball joints is the only thing I had to do outside of regular maintenance.

I have a 2015 Silverado HD, its an LT2 pretty loaded, no leather, but I paid $ 52k, the sticker on this truck is insane at $66K, I hope they loose sales on all these new trucks, their ripping off the public.

Can someone buy me this please? I would use it for picking up my groceries at Walmart.

I wanted this truck so bad so I traded in my 2017 ram power wagon this past weekend. Drove at4 for 2 days and returned it to get my truck back. Not quality at all..do better gmc.

The slanted wheel wells are hideous. The old 2018s are way better looking.

All full sized trucks are about $20k over priced!

@@BrianMello I took my 03 Silverado and put a crate (semi built, 470hp LQ9) motor replacing my 5.3 LM7. Had the 4l60e gone thru with Sonnax 5 pinion, Z-pack clutches, and hardened shell. With parts and labor for install I had $12K in the whole thing. If someone already has a truck - they should think about just replacing motor/trans It's a lot cheaper!

Not true. Able to order it with any color. The paintable wheel opening fender flare have limited options. Sometimes the “build your own” on the gmc web page gets wonky. For example. I wanted an under seat storage tray and the web page wanted to remove my wheel options and other items that absolutely had nothing to do with the other

Oh god... duratrax tires are the LOUDEST and MOST ANNOYING thing on earth when going 55mph

@@Encourageable i grew up on a farm bud I've been in a LOT of trucks, lifted and non. I'm also 6'1" so the extra 2 inches from that step to the interior isn't difficult to make. My point is either have the step lower down so its useful or not have it at all. Since trucks usually look better without a step anyway.
