I bought an at4. Love it. Needed a midsize.truck now. Could not wait for the next generation.

Hopefully the next generation Colorado and Canyon get the 2022 Sliverado interior.

I recently bought one of these, in this exact spec, and it's awesome so far. You're right, it's more $ than some and about the same as a ZR2, but right now with the market I couldn't find a truck that wasn't so high in price that I could justify it. Fortunately, I found a dealership within an hours distance that wasn't marking up and I even got this truck for a lot less...in the high 30s. I chose this over a Colorado because I liked the styling better. I would say the value of mine is great, as again, I got it for high 30s and not in the 40s.

I have 2021 Elevation for 41,000 ...so you did very good with your pricing. I love my Elevation, tho a lower model than at4....it's solid, no issues...in fact since it's initial inception in 2015 which was a horrible of year, GMC and Chevy perfected this truck! Congrats.

How did you get it in the high 30's? The msrp with the off road package is around 45k.

Why does it have the wheels off of the Colorado LT but painted black?

I bought one and I love it. Arguably it is more refined than the competition and therefore a great daily driver. The V-6 and transmission are superior to the ancient Tacoma; it rides, brakes, and handles better than the Ranger. I just spent a day on some serious off-load trails here in Georgia and it performed amazingly, as I rode with six Jeeps. The 31" Duratrac tires are awesome; the three skid plates and side rails offer protection. And I like the 'Auto' 4WD switch, which is equal to full-time 4WD in that it automatically kicks in to 4WD when needed. All of these truck are pricey now, but these are not normal times. Can't wait to get back to more inventory from which to choose.

Simple interior, an actual key both are a big plus to me. the At4 with "long bed" checks a lot of boxes for the price. being in truck country part of Orygun, I need a truck for what I will use it for and mid size with the longer bed seem to fit the bill

A few differences with the ZR2: 1. Severely decreased payload and tow ratings - Towing is 2000- 2600lbs less than AT4 (V6/Diesel) - Payload is 220-280lbs less than AT4 2. ZR2 loses bumper steps and fog lights (not a big deal to some) In short - the AT4 is better for truck things, the ZR2 is better for off-road things.

Where this truck shines over the ZR2 is it’s tow rating. The ZR2 is only good for 5,000 pounds! With the AT4 you could take your family of four with a pretty nice size Bunk house camp trailer!

What people complaining about the pricing forget to realize is that Chevy and especially GMC often have rebates and discounted prices. I’m seeing these AT4 for about $39-40k. I bet you can get it down a few thousand from that. But I agree for the price I can get a lower trim Silverado or F150.

It needs a massive refresh on the inside... and must include Blindspot warning as a standard feature (probably the best safety feature in a modern vehicle)

One I love it still has a key the feeling of turning over a motor is amazing! Further more terrible review. You dont point out a lot of those "standard features" are only stamdard on the 'offroad performance package. Not the basic at4! You dont point out other engine options. Further more I bought my at4 because I found it was $5000 cheaper then the used 4X,XXX+ mile zr2s I was looking at. Let me reword that. I bought a duramax at4 for the same price as a used 40,000 mile zr2. Dealers mark up the zr2s like crazy.

Easy access to credit has made every American "truck" smaller than medium duty the equivalent to designer work boots. 90% of Americans who have new trucks couldn't come up with enough cash to buy a rusty LeSabre.

Actually not true sunshine, the average buyer of pick up truck owners are contractors whose per capita income is 120,000 per year. It's the urban professional hipsters that are drowning in debt thanks to college loans and all that wokey education.

@@MBB563 it doesn't matter how much money you make if you are spending it all before you even earn it. The fancy truck, the fancy work and Play trailer, the fancy utvs, the fancy boat, the fancy house, you can finance all of it as long as you have proof of income. The second the income goes away all the fancy stuff goes away.

In my opinion, too much money. Yes, GMC is good at making only pickup truck but too expensive. A high country Tahoe monthly payment go for 1k a month. This too will be 1k a month.
