2021 Global Temperature Changes Since 1850

A Berkeley Earth Animation of global temperature changes since 1850.
2021 was nominally the 6th warmest year since instrumental measurements began, consistent with natural variability on top of a long-term warming trend.

This is a model's interpretation of temperature that we have little empirical evidence for outside the US and small areas of Europe. To claim we have a real idea of global temperatures prior to satellites is absurd.

Almost a total fabrication. Showing the temperature on parts of the globe where no one was taking any recordings. Amazing.

1850 was the end of the little ice age and one of the coldest points in the last 10,000 years, expect warming.

It is simple math. Warming means heats coming into the earth is larger than heats going out from the earth. Scientists claim that slowing flow of heats by greenhouse gases rises the earth temperature because heats generated in the earth is larger than heats coming from the space, including those from the sun. However, Mt. Pinatubo showed that slowing the heat flow lowered the earth temperature, indicating that the heat from the sun is greater, which is in line with the common sense, e.g. night is cooler than daytime, winter is cooler than summer, etc.. Then, slowing the heat flow in and out from the earth lower the earth temperature. In other words, greenhouse gases are innocent bystanders.

WOW! Computer models are amazing, they can cool the past, and warm the future at the flick of a switch.

1.2 degrees rise is now displayed in red? What colors will they use when it's 2.5 degrees. Oops I forgot the earth ends before then.

All very good but the world did not start in 1850. 5000 yrs ago the Sahara was lush grasslands with wild animals roaming. WTFH Camels farting.
