@@cbg482 That's the why the challenger worked so well for so long. They made it seem as much like a 1st gen challenger as much as possible. The mustang and camaro are great but they feel like "new cars styled to look like a '68" rather than trying to recreate 1970 but with modern parts like with the challenger. One comes off way more authentic. They gave you a classic muscle car not a angry styled kinda fake racer made for people who think they're going to laguna seca... Also mid mounted mufflers sound WAY better than rear mounted ones.

That's how ya fuckin do it! Enough with the straight pipe true duals people. You might be able to achieve the volume but not the sound quality. It's so clean even though it's loud AF. And this setup makes probably 25 ft lb of torque compared to the maybe 10 for straight pipes. I just don't understand the idc what it sounds like or how much power I get out of an exhaust I just want noise kind of people

Uhhh, did you see how big the mufflers were. A ½ step up from straightpipes. As you said, why tf people make their cars so fking loud, sounds like shit, which those do. Put some bigger cans on it and have some class!

@@wusthof641 I agree it's too loud for me too but it was clean for how loud it was. I would've gotten like a super44 or borla xr1 race mufflers. Could've even just added vibrant resonators. But honestly the super10s aren't even flowmasters most aggressive muffler. That crown goes to the outlaw.

I work at a paint and auto body shop. We have one of these shaker hood challengers in the shop. I'm sorry to inform all the fans of the shaker hood style challengers, but they're non-functional. They don't actually work like a shaker hood is supposed to. It's just there for decoration. Sad vibes man.

He’s not wrong at all and the people here talkin smack back to him don’t know what they’re talking about. I have a 2019 rcsb f150 with a bone stock truck coyote. I’ll blast this car, even with the headers and tune. I literally put two to three lengths on them from a dead stop to probably a hundred. Done it with three different challenger rt’s and two different charger rt’s. One of the challengers had a cold air, cat back, and a tune. And it wasn’t even close. So stop getting butt hurt. They’re cool cars. They’re not actually fast though.

Funny thing is that I’ve got a similar Shaker. Stock engine is 375hp. Factory X-pipe and a set of glass packs and it sounds just the same for a fraction of the price. All that extra money for 25-35hp more……SMH Slap some 275/40R20 on the front and 305/35R20 on the rear, bro.
