Thank you so much!!🥰
Congrats on all your acceptances! I was given the transfer option by Cornell last year on Ivy Day. I was so confused too! I didn’t end up liking my first year university so I will be attending Cornell this fall semester, the transfer option is such a blessing! Wish you all the best in your college journey!

Hi there! I made a stats video and edited it and everything, but I’ve been contemplating over the past few months on whether or not to post it, and I’ve decided not to. I remember when I was in high school, getting ready to apply to college, I became obsessed with stats videos, and I compared myself to everyone I came across on the internet. Looking back, I wish I hadn’t done that because it caused me so much stress and anxiety, and I don’t want to be someone who adds to other people’s stress in this already-difficult college admissions process. I wanted to give you a few words of advice that I have been putting together over the past few months, as I’ve been thinking of a way to still help people who reach out with questions in case you’re applying to college or for scholarships in the future. 1. Be yourself in your essays, and be proud of what you submit. Don’t write what you think people want to hear and don’t allow people around you to change your words so much that they become theirs. Let your passions shine through in essays and show different aspects of yourself and your life. Show that you are multi-faceted. As long as you show the person you are and why you care about making the world a better place, you should be so proud of what you’ve written and shouldn’t stress. 2. Be visual in your writing. Use imagery and paint an image of a scene in the minds of your readers. I think this really helped readers get to know me and connect with me in my essays. Don’t be afraid to take up words by being descriptive. 3. If you can, make connections across different parts of your application. For example, if you say you want to be a business major, use past experiences or something from the activities section, maybe a leadership position, to show where your interest in business comes from. Make these connections in your essays if possible. I think that connecting my experiences in high school, such as running my own non-profit, really helped me get across why I want to go into a pre-business major: in order to continue being an entrepreneur in the future. A goal of mine is to run an international nonprofit, so making this connection between my past and my future was important to me. 4. Don’t compare yourself to others in this process! You are special in your own way, and you will end up where you are truly meant to be. You have worked so hard, and you have ambition. Any university should feel lucky to have you. If they don’t want you, you don’t want them. That’s what I had to remind myself as I got decisions back. Please do not hesitate to reach out with more questions. I’m so sorry I haven’t responded sooner, but I hope this is helpful! Although I won’t be posting a stats video, I will most likely be filming my move-in at Stanford and my experiences as a student and cheerleader. Stay tuned if you’re interested. -Morgan Moreno
Omg!! I’m so happy for you! I know what its like to work so hard for something and you got in to so many 🤩🤩🤩

Congratulations! U did amazing. Ur hard work payed off and u did amazing :) 🎉🥳🥳🥳🥳
These videos are so addicting- Btw congratulations!!!
Guys hug your parents. They have been supporting you on this journey it’s a win for them too!
CONGRATULATIONS! You only need 1 school and you have a lot of full ride offers!!! 🥳🥳🥳 Your fam is so cute and supportive. Fave moment was when you all leaned forward to squint at your harvard decision 😂
I'm late to seeing this video. However, I'm so happy for you too! Well done, Morgan! As someone living in Palo Alto, I hope that you're enjoying Stanford and Palo Alto! Don't forget to hike the Dish, enjoy dining on University Avenue, watch the sunset at Pigeon Point and take a stroll along Devil's Slide trail (in Pacifica).

@@morganmoreno9357 hi Morgan, I’m not sure if you’ll see this since it’s been a while since you’ve uploaded this video. Butttt I just wanted to say thank you for this comment. I’m a high school senior currently applying to various very competitive colleges… Ive probably watched all the reaction and stats videos you can find online… Ive also already submitted my first application to my dream school, and Ive been just endlessly trying to compare myself with all these other people who either got in or didn’t…. Seeing this comment, however, i think I feel so much more at peace… I tried my best in my application, gave it my all, wrote essays that I love… and will continue to love even if I get rejected… and i finally finally seem to understand that it’s okay if I get rejected… I will continue living life, and I’m sure I’ll be in the right place… thank you so much for this message, your words honestly honestly warmed my heart and now I think I can finally comfortably let go of my cycle of binging these stats videos… thank you Wishing you the best and most wonderful things ever, A stressed senior who can finally see that I’m not defined by comparisons between myself and others… and that I’m much more… defined by my goals, my memories my happiness, my supporters around me

Hi there! I completely agree; Cornell is an incredible school! I just meant statistically Cornell has the highest acceptance rate of the three ivies I applied to: Columbia, Harvard, and Cornell. So, just by the numbers, I thought I would have a higher chance of getting in to Cornell as opposed to Harvard or Columbia, but I completely did not mean to undermine what a fantastic school Cornell is :)

@@morganmoreno9357 I did not think you meant to at all. People tend to slight Cornell more then the other ivies and alot of it is perception based...

I wanted to give you a few words of advice that I have been putting together over the past few months, as I’ve been thinking of a way to still help people who reach out with questions. I hate it when people cry.
Her poor siblings having to follow her lol
Hearing you mispronounce “Kenan Flagler” so many times in a row when you were literally READING IT hurt my head. Grats though. I guess you won’t be majoring in English or anything to do with reading?

And based on that comment I hope that you won't choose a career that requires much human interaction.
