I’m the biggest chase Elliot fan but you can’t throw that second block especially up high and not expect to get wrecked. Good job for blaney. Sucks for Suarez, missed a top 3 finish cuz Kurt hooked him

He didn't throw a 2nd block, the 21 caught the bumper and it caused him to go up the track. I think it may have been better for him to just stay in line with the 9. But I also get his attempt, he just didn't clear the 9 fully.

Gutted for Matty D but that's racing. Hope he can still land a Cup ride next season.

I’d like to point out that I completely wasn’t allowed to watch the first half of this race because NBC aired the ravens preseason game over the first half of this race… PRESEASON, and it was a blowout, never switched it.

nbc did not air football your local NBC station did as they have the rights. and that's not NBC's fault that you couldn't watch because you didn't log into NBC sports website/app to watch like you could have

Shootout to Michael McDowell. He finished last so other people could win at Daytona this year, how thoughtful.

Got to hand it to Blaney, that was great blocking during those last 3 laps.

I'd have followed nascar all year but y'all like to limit your coverage and it's really spotty at best weather I can actually watch a race from week to week....... I'm over it ... Done trying to get coverage for any race......... It all died when y'all didn't cover the dirt track at bristol. You want to see Nascar continue to grow? How bout making it more accessible for the fans.

@@gyro727 they didn't show the finish to the 2019 trucks martinsville race that's where the backlash is for fox and knowing that happened there is a opened possibility it can happen again in the future at least nbc shows the finishes of these races yeah they might switch networks but at least nbc don't completely blackout the finish to where nobody that is watching can't see it and then jump straight to college football right after

Incredible race! Even though they slowed them down a little, this packaged delivered some great racing all night. I’m a little disappointed by the finish though. I wanted an upset, not the same guy from last week.. Anyway, congrats to Blaney for the win, and congrats to Larson for getting the regular season title. On to the playoffs!

Really... that sucks- Pepsi 400 Was my go to race in the 90's & early 2000' was mostly packed back then where u could up-sell(scalp) any xtra tickets.. Not these days i guess.

12:45 Jr’s PTSD Kick in

Being there in person was awesome, i was rooting for Preece the whole time. It’s a shame that Elliot throwing that block spun him around. I’m still not entirely sure how he spun tho, I believe Blaney and him got together and he just lost it. It’s a shame cause he woulda been in 3rd or 4th after that and would’ve had a chance to win. At least he was able to power through the final three laps and avoid the wreck to come home 4th! I'm heading to Darlington for the next race, look forward to cheering him on there too!!

Matt DibbeeDee had the run and Chase tried to block him. The 21 would have taken the lead and that’s why all that happened.

My point exactly... this is not racing. The Daytona track is all wrong for competitive racing. I can't understand all the hype for any race at this track. If there is no place anywhere on the track to go four wide, get rid of the track, it's just a parade route for pretty cars.

@@charlieb8788 by definition, Auto Racing is a Motorsport involving the racing of automobiles for competition, Daytona and Talladega being the most competitive tracks on the schedule means that these are the closest to the definition, “auto racing”

Congrats to Blaney, but I am super P.O.ed that my man Harvick got knocked out at the very tail end like that. Very disappointing.

Hendricks didn't have a problem giving him a car cgr had no spine he paid his price went away get a replacement driver while he completes sensitivity training once he did you bring him back there out of the show now

@@johnhaas2523 you’re not wrong, and any package can’t entirely be judged until it’s on the track. But man this package scares me. None of these wrecks were horrible but they’re happening for the same reasons as Newman’s did. That closing speed is crazy on this package

They changed the package before this race...lower HP and changed the spoiler. Less speeds and slower closing rate. There will always be some element of danger on Super Speedways.

Gutted for so many cars out there but I guess this made up for Blaney in 20 when he lost out to Hamlin

@@jamesheald567 GM (Chevy) doesn't build any NASCAR race cars. Neither does Ford. At least all the NASCAR Fords have Ford components. NASCAR Chevy cars use Ford transmissions and differentials. Engines are built by HMS. The Ford's engines are built by Roush/Yates. Toyota 5.9 NASCAR engines are SBC blocks. Individual teams build the race cars, not the automakers. Automakers only provide sponsorship money.
