Can’t believe this is the only car Chrysler makes that isn’t a minivan. And even then, both the Pacifica and voyager are essentially the same, the voyager is just more stripped down at a cheaper price. So there’s pretty much 2 vehicles in their whole lineup. What happened to Chrysler being the luxury or at least premium brand out of Chrysler dodge jeep and ram? I’d like to see them compete with Cadillac or Lincoln.

Their top tier sport was an SRT trim, shelved in 2015 due to poor sales. A Chrsyler scat pack, if you will. 6.4L Hemi putting out 470 hp, with sporty interiors. Their luxury trim of the highest order was the 300C, discontinued in 2020. It has features and wrinkles unlike this 300S with the same 5.7L Hemi. Like heated front cupholders! And the inside is wood and leather! Just an incredible mid tier luxury car. I know all this as I am trying to snag a used 300C. My favorite look & performance combo in a car so far. No appetite to buy a Toyota once I learnt of it and researched it. Hopefully I get a 2020 or 2019 with low miles.

I had the first 300 in 2004. I LOVED it for 15 years, but only did 50,000 miles. Still had the original brakes, windows and battery. The tran shift kicked, but no problem. I could put my bike box in there, 70x38x10". 255HP was fine, would seem lame nowadays. It did go sideways stomping in the snow. My new Volvo V90 goes 100% straight. It's weird how many of these are at dealers this year. They are mostly the 290HP AWD with no sunroof, the way I would buy it. The last few years I couldn't find any around. I do think the 4.7" ground is very lame to be useful in snow though, pfffft. Otherwise not much to not like. The rims look rather awful for me. The ones on the 2004 went to hell leaking air like a seive after a few tire dismounts.

If you don't like the knob shifter and want AWD with a 6.4L HEMI or equivalent paired with it, then just buy a damn Dodge Durango or Jeep GC SRT! It's that simple, Grand Cherokee SRT is similar to the 300 SRT anyways, so what are you really loosing out on?? Looks?? Big deal!! Both comes with 4 Doors, real Carbon Fiber interior accents, real leather wrapped dashboard and door panels, Heated and Cooled Seats, and a Panoramic Sunroof! The ONLY difference between the two is obvious, one comes with a hatch, the other doesn't, okay? And? You wanted AWD right? You hate the 300 Shifter Knob right? So just buy a Jeep SRT

There are only two option packages with this car and if you add both it works out to be about 44k. You get the HIDs and safety stuff. You won't get that with a Charger for that price.

They only had a v6 from 2015 till now, first time they have hooked the v8 up to the 8 speed zf, you prolly raced a v6. If it was a v8 it was only a 5 speed auto an the hemis done wake up till they have more power or they 8 speed

I owned a hemi Charger and a P71 Crown Vic. Even with the 5 speed auto the Charger absolutely blew the doors off the Vic, no contest. 250hp 4.6 vs 370hp 5.7 is not a fair fight. I’d bet a 5.7 with the 8 speed would be even quicker.

@@joln2003 First off the most egregious is halogen lights on a 2021 car. Needs to be LED for the price. Second, the exterior is really nicely designed IMO. Love it or hate it, that it's been untouched since a decade ago says how little Chrysler really cares. Third, the interior...oh my the interior. The reviewer here rely seems to like it, and even compared it to Ferrari and LR. Objectively, it's a bunch of plastic bin parts with red seats. North of 42 grand for this v8 model and you get a bunch of plastic, no cooled seats and an infotainment system that looks like it's from the early 2000s. To compare this interior to LR or Ferrari is laughable at best. This car is north of four thousand pounds, it's a BIG vehicle, yet he's eating the front seat when he's sitting in the back. I get that he's 6 foot 3 but I've seen more cabin space in cars like an accord or camry that weigh hundreds of pounds less. It just seems an impractical vehicle for the size. It's just generally grossly outdated and overpriced for the money. For 42k or more you could get an interior that puts this to shame and a car that is much more modern and equipped than this. But hey... the thing LOOKS GOOD 👍(as it has for well over a decade....for better or for worse)
