Hey bro I just got hip to your channel and by far it is the best in detail on how to stuff with SxS vehicles. You said you didnt like the mounting brackets for the mirrors but I bet they made them that way incase you wanna put a windshield on and the bracket wont be in the way.

On the xsprite chase light you dont need that bracket. The kit comes with 2 bolts that slide into the back of the light bar. And the cage has 2 small holes that it will line up to and bolts right up.

Id recommend some light pods on the a pillar from baja designs and a baja designs onx6 10in on the shock tower.. if u put a light bar up top. Some have said u get a glare when used with a winshield

That S8 and those whips are next on my shopping list, I’m running a pair of Baja designs lp4s and lp6s.

For the Exprite Rock lights, did you use a rocker switch or just control power from the App? Also, did you run the rock light power to accessories area in center console (car has to be on)? Or can be rock lights can be on when car is off? Great stuff man! I’m building my X3 max abs your videos are inspiring me. Thanks

No they do not. They are two seperate apps.. if u want them to sync. U would need 5150 187 rock lights to go with 187 whips..check out our 5150 video

how did you make your whips light up red when hitting the breaks? i have the 6ft 187 Bluetooth whips this will be cool

It appears that some of the newer 187 whip bluetooth controllers are coming with an additonal. Circuit wire for brake function.. the older ones didnt have them.. i contacted 5150..waiting to hear back

Any complaints out the xprite rock lights? would still go with them or is there another brand you would recommend.

They are good and bright. T do recommend them, I will say that if your able to get your hands on the 5150 rock lights. those can be synced with the 5150 whips which would be cool. one app for both whips and rock lights.. i dont think 5150 has them on their site. you have to call their shop.

We used the superatv tinted half windshield. And to be honest. Because its pretty high. Its hard to see out of at nite. A clear one would have been a better choice. On my personal x3 i run the factory oem half windshield.. works well but kinda expensive for what it is👍

Looks legit Franky. I have a Turbo S and ran all my accessory wiring through relays and a fuse block. Are you running all that to just a bus bar or what does your wiring setup look like?

The pods and light bar have their own harness with relay.. i just made wiring harness for the switches to trigger relays.. i really do need to make a wiring video soon to explain in detail...

They are features of those lights and simply have a separate trigger wire that connects to the brake light circuit

we found out thanks to a viewer you dont need the brackets on a stock cage. the xprite chase light has a channel running thru the back of it. you can literally run two long bolts thru the channel. and then insert the bolts thru the cage on existing holes in the cage.

Has secondary battery installed.. it is recommend. Especially when adding audio system

Its 4 rock lights in white, they are wired in parallel and go straight to a switch on the center console

Check it out . A viewer advised me that for the stock cage u wont need any brackets.. the chase light is slotted on the back and you run two bolts thru the slotted channel and then run those two bolts on the existing cage holes.

@@efrax3340 these are the 5150 whips 187 model, at the power and grounds for the bluetooth module, it had 3 extra wires. 1 for brake light. 1 for left turn signal and 1 right turn signal.. we simply connected the brake light wire off the module to the brake lights on the car
