Really wish this car had some kind of interior ambient lighting! Nature/ambient sounds (rain and such) would also be incredible.

@@TellurdogIsayhi I’m not just talking about door handle lighting, CT5 has brightness adjustable LED strips that runs the length of all four doors. The same white strip that was in my 2020 Audi A6. It could be more customizable but it is also actually nice as is too. Subtle, not overly done.

Then you want to look at KIA or Hyundai's offerings. They even have a fireplace mode to look at while driving 🙈🙉🙊

I like these types of videos, because it helps you get a sense of what it would be like to have one of those cars, even when you can't buy one. But thanks to this video, I would say that if I could, I would buy that car.

Correct, this is not the Blackwing. The digital gauge cluster is a part of Technology Package in the "regular" V

I'd get a base model ct5 v blackwing , I don't need all the fuzzy extras. Right now every thing is overpriced so I'm thinking a budget 408 LS or Mopar build should do .

@@EUROCARGUY Thanks, yeah it is very clear at the 4:04 mark. Will miss the cool blue light on my malibu that runs across the entire dash and reflects off the chrome strip of the dash "grill" on my 2013. Makes it a very nice place to in while driving and everyone comments on how cool it is, and the nice color of the light . They were on to something, and in typical GM fashion, they eliminate it or reduce it in newer models. Meanwhile, MB seems to be full steam ahead with ambient lighting. Next daily driver is going to be CT5 Sport or V with Super Cruise, just have to drive both the 4 cyl and the V-6 to compare, as I want refinement and quiet and smooth ride in my daily driver. Already have a 2011CTS V Coupe with 6-spd manual for the "fun".

You gotta start getting on it to get real driving experience.

If they made this into a wagon, I guarantee you it would have sold out like hot cakes.

Electrics won't sell as well as their CEO hopes...there isn't enough infrastructure for high speed DC charging. It's fine to change at home if you're only ever going to commute, but people are going to want to do more. If there isn't funding for fast charging, forget it. We aren't Europe, we don't have high speed rail and in America, most vacations are driving vacations.

@@marksmadhousemetaphysicalm2938 Your wrong, there's enough DC charger infrastructure, EVs sell better than even ICE powered cars, The ford lightning EV had 55,000 reservation, the Cadillac Lyriq reservation filled up in just 19 minutes, this shows how popular ev cars are. USE SOME COMMON SENSE! Tesla Sales are high and keep sky rocketing, even past toyota.

What is the color on this particular car? Really like that metallic grey.

@@EUROCARGUY How did you get this color?? They don't even offer that here in California. They have a silver and "Midnight" Steel Metallic (which is more blueish)

it is a good looking car inside and out but digital instrument gauges are stupid regardless of the car

@@azaz1853 No they're not adaptive. It has automatic on/off high beam but not adaptive high beam.
