2021 British Single Meal Ration Pork Sausage Casserole MRE Review Meal Ready to Eat SMR Tasting Test

Ойын-сауық

The SMR is the UK equivalence to the US MRE, and this British comfort food classic Pork Sausage Casserole is quite possibly the best menu out of the 10 currently in service. With 1,500 calories, a roaring flameless ration heater that's easily twice as powerful as an MRE's, and rugged components that are palatable and nutritious, this is truly one of the most well made military rations in the world.

This is what I like most about Steve. He just uploads at random. Nothing weekly, or monthly. Sometimes I wonder what happened when he's away for a while. But the most important of all, is he does every video with calmness, clearness, no cuss/swearing, no asking for subscribers or to like his videos, etc... He just does a review, gives an honest opinion, and let's his audience decide whether to like, comment or subscribe. Unlike many KZreadrs who think they have to ask, beg, plead, in each video. Sometimes 2, 3, or more times. It gets old.

Brilliantly designed ration. You can tell that it is made to be comfort food and to remind a soldier of home. You can see yourself eating/drinking any of that while reading the paper at the kitchen table. Making me hungry just seeing it. UK rations are really cheap and easy to get online, so many of the components in these and the 24hr packs are great for camping/hiking like the wipes, matches, purification tablets as well as the food items. Not a fan of the 3 in 1 hot drinks myself, but that's personal choice, I always stock up on the old sachets of Rombouts coffee if I can find them! Yes, I am the one Brit who doesn't like tea!

@@markthompson8733 I mean cheap compared to the alternatives, a single MRE or Real Turmat meal is at the very least the same price, probably more, so being able to get 3 meals plus snacks, drinks etc is a good deal IMO.
