Sounds great. I’ve just ordered a new m340i with this exhaust as an add on option. Can’t wait.

The standard exhaust pops just enough. After hard acceleration in sport plus, immediately let off the gas to get a pop or two or three. I have a 2021 M340xi, but ordered it with proper, staggered summer rubber 😀

Disconnect the valve controller on the exhaust when it is open and sounds nice all of the time :)

@@Scselig get a new exhaust. The stock one is very restrictive. I have the AWE track Exhaust and I get burbles all the time

Any drone on this exhaust?

Looks like your car came with 225 square setup stock. In the MPE video the tires look like PS4S - did you buy new wider rear rims for staggered setup? Or are you running 245s in the back?

I went with square to spec 225s all around per what’s written on the door jam. But I think that may be what’s causing a bit more shimmy than I like when power sliding. When I wear through this set, I’m probably going to put the RFTs back on these wheels for winter, and get a set of staggered flow-forms. The car puts out a surprising amount of power at the rear when you want it to, even though it’s XDrive

What are you doing ?

Wish the new ones were as loud sadly even with the M performance the 2024 model isn't as loud as the the standard from 2019-2021

Can't tell you how many times I watched this!! Thanks for doing this. What's your long term opinion of MPE? Still recommend? I am most likely getting for my 2023 M340i. What did you do with the stock exhaust? Wondering if worth keeping the stock for some reason?

Axle back. You have to cut the factory exhaust to fit it on.

Maybe they changed the tuning. The 2021 is also a mild hybrid now.

I don't think so. The standard exhaust sounds way better than mine. My biggest disappointment with the car so far is the exhaust note. Huge step down from my S4 it replaced.

It would do it on a cold start sometimes, or randomly while driving. Not so much once the system was up to temperature.

@@jarasw8226 are you in Europe? European models have opf which mutes the sound. I have also heard you need to break in the exhaust. Anyway, im in the US and mine sounds like this in the video.

I was once told that the standard exhaust on the M340i was build by M Performance, thats why it already sounds nice... So u paid extra and replaced a part with the same identical part... Lol!

That's not how u Rev the car ,u damaging the car, don't press the accelerater for too long

Blurring plates like everyone and their mother doesn’t have an m340 in NJ nothing special

You can’t have an M performance exhaust and a standard at the same time. Second, that isn’t an M performance exhaust at all. Third, an M performance exhaust is best on an actual True M performance car, not an M sport. I’ve owned both, and it is a major difference.
