Acura's 2021 TLX Type S is another sign that the automaker is returning to its performance vehicle roots. To make sure Acura isn't just adding a louder exhaust and calling it a day, we got to drive the Type S at Laguna Seca home to the infamous Corkscrew.

how was the throttle & transmission response?

It was impressive. accelerating out of corners in sport+ the transmission grabs at just the right time. Great for drifting if that's your thing. :)
