Thanks for putting a detailed video together. I’m iffy on drilling the A pillar and am thinking of using a double sided tape VHB tape instead.

That might work instead of drilling it. My concern is weathering to the double sided tape causing the snorkel to move and somehow the hoseclamp failing and causing water/debris to enter to the engine. Just some thought. If you decide to do it, let me know how it works out.

@otzlee explains Do you know if snorkels are legal? Would a smog station smog our vehicles that snorkels installed on an OEM or CARB compliant airbox?

Good video. You did make me super nervous with that hole saw though I would have just used a dremel. At least that's what I'm planning on next week. Also the way that air intake is just wide open waiting for something to fly in there...

I just bought a 2023 off road premium for 53k and have 3kmiles. Thought about adding a snorkel but shees that looks way too intrusive, I might wait until 20k before I start drilling holes in the body lol

Now I can get one. I have a 19 pro and have Ben wondering which snorkel to purchase. I heard certain kits don't fit. Great video

There’s a few kits out there but I really like the arb kit. I helped my buddy install a doberson kit and they didn’t even include the template.

It’s super solid once it’s installed. Not coming off. No noise, cleaner air filter

Not at all. Throttle actually felt less constricted right after, but that’s my personal experience
