Great video as always Chris! I was trying to get the tachometer to show in the home menu and the "tachometer" option doesn't show under Meter setup. I have a 2022 Accord Hybrid Touring. Was that setting taken off in the newer model? Thank you!

It also has automatically applying parking brake. while I was backing up, I opened the door to see the curb and make sure I dont hit it, the parking brake applied itself, lol.

@@raykwong2212 Under normal driving conditions you shouldn't expect the battery to ever be fully charged. One of the main ways that a hybrid improves fuel economy is by regenerative braking, but if the battery is completely topped off there's no place to store that energy so it's just lost.

It's easy. Turn the light switch off, engage the electric parking brake. Turn the car off, then restart the car. Now the lights will be off until you start driving again.

So if the key fob battery dies and you have to use the key to open the door, then why do you need the key to open the trunk? Can't you just hit the button in the car? I 'm asking because I will be getting my 2022 Accord Sport, hopefully, this month!!! Thanks for the video!!!

If the car battery is dead, you'll need to follow the steps to access the truck. If its just a dead fob battery you can used a trunk release in the vehicle. Congratulations on your new Honda and thank you for watching

Unfortunately you can't just delete a saved preset, you have to save over it

@@chuckfan1 if you stop at a red light, and fully press the brake, your engine will turn off, then turn on again when you release your brake. Supposed to save on gas. Seems like it would work well in a city like LA or somewhere with tons of traffic.

Just select and hold down the ACC (that changes the distance) until you hear a beep. I have a video as well

Lol they have actually. If you take out the physical key from the fob, you'll twist left once and then a second time but this time it's twist and hold. This should work!

@@Nig3riantac0s im talking about exactly how they roll down with the button, it should be able to be done from the remote.

My 2018 Accord 1.5T just had a fuel injector fail at 58k error code P0172 (posted on my channel). Modern Honda look amazing but once the 3yr/36k warranty expires you're on your own and you have no idea how expensive modern Honda engines are to fix. Oil changed at 80%, Shell regular used 80% of the time, always did warm up the car in the winter. Dealer so out of touch they recommended brake fluid replacement at 30k. I've never seen this part fail in ANY of my past cars. When asked why the injector failed so early Dealer said they see them all the time and cost of replacement is $1600-$2500 (must replace all 4) and the new injectors warranty is only for 12k/12mos! I was in love and bought the 1st Accord on the lot with series ending in -0001 but when I made a case with Honda to see if it could be part of a bad batch all I got was the VM of the case manager for weeks on end. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice...

If the fob is dead, the vehicle can't sense it close by. So you can not unlock the locked trunk without a working fob within range.

@@shengloan There's not setting for headlights to turn off when locking the door with the key fob. You do have a setting that you can adjust for the headlights to turn off in a selected time frame (0sec, 15sec, 30sec, and 60sec) once you turn off the vehicle and shut the driver door.

I have 2020 accord sport 2.0 an Do we know if on simple thing can be done yet? If I set a radio preset it can’t be deleted!!🤬🤬🤬 Has that been fixed on 23 models??

On your key fob under the trunk button there should be a small red button labeled “panic” Press and hold that to make your car flash it’s lights and sound it’s alarm, to turn off panic mode just press lock

Hi I have a few question.. I had 2019 Honda Accord sport 1.5 and when I would get in after I say about 30 seconds of driving a womens voice would come on and basically say driver or passenger seat belt not fastened.. well I just bought a 2022 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T last night and when I first test drove it the voice popped on and said seatbelt wasn’t fastened( I can’t remember if it was driver or passenger) I did have a occupant. But then it just chimes constantly if seat belts are not fastened in the front. Why does the voice not come on every entry?

I had a 2019 civic sport that came with remote start and walk away auto lock. I just bought a 2021 accord sport and it doesn't have either, how is that possible? 2 years newer and a better model yet its down graded? Wth

You're correct, the civic sport had those features but not the accords. Unfortunately that's how Honda assembled it. You may explore a Honda or aftermarket remote start.

That's unlucky, dealer tried to sell me a 2020 accord now I'm happy I opted for the 2022 cuz it has all these cool features

Heey Chris hope all is well I have a question But first..I have a 1997 Ford Escort..a 2005 Ford 500 and just purchased my first 2021 Honda Accord Sport. I have never had a problem using non ethanol gas in my other cars But the salesperson told me not to use ethanol free gas in the 2021 Honda Accord WHY?? as he didn't say.. so what say you?

I appreciate that you took the time to answer back BUT I'm looking for an answer in reference to using ETHANOL FREE GAS in my 2021 Honda I'm well aware it's regular for these new cars..ethanol free is also unleaded regular. What is the harm of using ethanol free unleaded is the answer I'm looking for.

@@jazzyboy7784 Heey since I made this comment 2 months ago I found that non ethanol gas works just find in my 2021 Honda Accord Sport. I live in the Peach State and NEVER had a problem finding it and it burns🔥 better without the water also use it in my Hustler zero turn.👍💯😎

I hated that window roll down feature on my Maxima. My husband would be sitting on the keys on accident and someone would come inside and tell us our Windows were down 🤦🏿‍♀️😂

Is it me or did he keep saying “lock, lock, hold lock” to roll down windows. It’s the “unlock” button that rolls it down.

For some reason I can’t see my mileage cause it’s showing the trip amount. How can I see the mileage on my car?

Depending on the trim level, there should be a stick on the driver's interface that you can push to change from trip A B and current mileage. Let me know if that helps and thank you for your support

Havnt had any issues with the system on the 2.0 Touring. Super top of the line? Probably not.. but it does what its supposed to.. different for everyone of course, but having Madison Square Garden type set up isnt what I needed lol Plus there is a hidden menu that has a button you can adjust that helps out a bit. Helps a little, and you can hear the difference.. The best out there? no.... sucks? not even close..

You forgot to say that most of these features if not all are only for Accord 2.0 and not honda Sport.

All of these features will work on the Accord Sport 2.0T. The Sport 1.5T does NOT have the Walk away auto lock. I also have info in the video Description, welcome to review once you're available.
