    Don't put words like this: two hours later. It's only 125cc. A motorcycle for commuting to work, school, for trips where you enjoy the ride. In which driving is not about driving as fast as possible and returning home, but about riding. I bought an MT-125 and immediately started taking driving tests to be able to buy a faster motorcycle. But I gave up. If I need to get there quickly, I have a car. The motorcycle is for trips on sunny days. However, your video is nice to watch because from the moment you leave the station your driving is energetic. Sometimes when I watch videos on KZread I can fall asleep :) Thanks for the video.

    Yeah those MT15's are a bit faster. Over here the A1 license goes up to 125cc and 15 hp. Would have beenbetter to have the MT15 over here but for the MT15 you will need the A2 license and no one with an A2 license will ride the MT15. At least not as main bike, perhaps as a second bike for in the city.

  • @MotoSnax

    @MotoSnax

    3 жыл бұрын

    Haha that is insanely fast for an air cooled 125cc 4 stroke engine. Was the speedometer correct as I know SYM has a larger difference between shown speed and gps speed compared to Japanese brands.

  • @RapidRossi

    @RapidRossi

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@MotoSnax yeah it was really fast for what it was, I never tested the top speed downhill but I imagine it could've done almost 90! The original speedometer actually failed so I replaced it with an eBay special, it showed 95mph which is obviously not correct! When the original one was working it was about 4-5% which wasn't bad, i always used a phone mount with a GPS Speedo so I didn't mind to much

  • @MotoSnax

    @MotoSnax

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@RapidRossi Still really fast for that air cooled engine. I once rode a Yamaha YBR125. Weighs almost less than nothing but I was not able to get that one above 106 km/h. Not sure what the wind direction was but I think that engine would not run that much faster.

  • @RapidRossi

    @RapidRossi

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@MotoSnax YBRs and XS are very similar, only 10/11 horsepower, they're not easy to get over 60mph at all! I cut down the exhaust, put a 38mm muffler under where the footpegs were (custom mount) got flat bars, took the center stand off but kept the side stand, upjetted it, longer gearing, did a DIY seat mod that made the seat really thin (so I could tuck in more), removed panels and everything else that wasn't necessary. It was the most unpractical thing you could do a 125, but probably the most fun!

If I had to replace my ER-6N (full power though), I probably would replace it with the CB650R or Z650... perhaps the Z400 as the speed limit during daytime (till 19.00 hrs) has dropped to 100 km/h and most of my rides I do during the daytime. It's the Derbi terra printed by malaguti. I had derbi terra for years, very good bike but was not a top quality, a lot of dangerous problems and in the end after I almost killed myself in the first because the chain was stuck, I had it scrapped. it had more than 40.000 km. it was more from the mechanic than from home. I know that today the engine is no longer the old Piaggio engine block and I have not tried it. the colors of Derbi Terra were beautiful, mine was black. those of the malaguti are obscene. if you want a quality bike I don't feel like advising you because it gave me great emotions. after derbi terra they made the Derbi terra adventure, today called Dune Adventure. my derbi terra was comfortable for traveling, it consumed little, top speed was 110 km / h. unfortunately it is the only motorcycle with that type of design on the market but if you can spend, considering that malaguti is no longer the Italian brand of the past, I recommend a honda, kawasaki or Yamaha. I know, they don't have that shape and are expensive but they are certainly vehicles with excellent technologies.

    Cool. Btw, why eu likes 125 cc motorcycle or scooter? 125cc scooter doesn't even go to 15 hp limit.

    Ask the European Union. :) In a lot of countries people were able to ride 125cc 15 hp bikes with a car license. In some countries that is still possible, but otherwise you need to get your A1 license for that. The A1 license should have been 250cc and a max of 40 hp or so. But no, they decided 125cc/15hp. Probably to get more people in to a car instead of on a motorcycle. Next up is A2, up to 48 hp and no displacement restriction. So you can ride a 900cc with 48 hp restriction. Next to A2 is the A license where you can go full power.

    The Honda Forza 125 and the Italjet Dragster 125 are both scooters with 15 hp.
