I thought crayfish aren't allowed to be caught when using tanks?

Hi there. Abalone or paua are not allowed to be gathered using bottles. Crayfish are allowed to be gathered on bottles with a limit of 6 per person. Thanks 😊 🙏

Dont worry man they get a chance ! Hahaha When im spearfishing that is. I also can be pretty selective on what i choose on bottles Nd get to hang out abit longer with them hahah . Thanks mate

Wow I never knew you can scuba for crays ? But paua are not allowed to take with scuba diving.
Using a crayfish snare is not impressive and illegal where l live l catch all my crays freediving and by hand only 😊

We are allowed to use cray snares here in nz. It's good for getting the ones that hide in the Cracks not reachable. Not a tool I use often as I do more free diving then bottle diving these days. Thanks for you comment
