One reason to opt for the cross-country model over the standard model could be that the cross-country model can install the trailer hitch ball by default. So one can install hitch bike rack on the vehicle. I personally prefer hitch rack over roof rack. As roof rack creates plenty wind noise and significantly hampers the fuel economy.

I ordered mine back in May, it should be here in a few weeks, and I’m VERY excited!!! My Old 98 V70XC Cross Country Wagon is VERY tired and slowly dying at 184K, but it’s done me well, and been nothing but a good and reliable car. I can only hope that the new 2020 V60 Cross Country is just as good as the old prototype 1998 V70 Cross Country, And so far the reviews look VERT promising :)

Yes, Volvos are great. Just wondering which to buy..V60 or V90 because we live in the city but the family enjoys long country rides and Volvo seats are really comfortable.

@@scubacollie2083 Hi ! We had an estate V70 for over 7 years, and then changed it to an XC60 for 5 yrs . Both are really superb ..very reliable and good, but also remembering not to take safety for granted. Its brakes are really good in moments of sudden braking when a driver with poor manners deliberately cuts in your way without checking and warning. Happened a few times (thank God) and we are very grateful to the car. We just booked a V90 estate coz of its longer depth (XC60 has a higher depth) as we miss estates . Given a choice, I would prefer keeping our beautiful XC60 but then thinking that spare parts may be harder to get in the later years. We didn't choose the V90CC as we live in the city. V90CC is taller (2") above ground to avoid bumps and rocky surfaces on uneven ground. If you have a small family (my boys are tall) you can opt for the V60 - smaller but sporty too. Each model has its own beauty and purpose, so you need to choose one to suit your family's lifestyle. ;)

@@GRKalexis Thank you for your reply. I need the 4x4 for snow and also the additional ground clearance for off road therefore I defintely need either the Cross Country or XC60. Which do you prefer out of the V90 and XC60? As you mentioned the V90 has a deeper loading area whereas the XC60 has a more shallower but higher loading bay. I have a BMW 320D TOURER Shadow at the moment and that has 495 litres of boots pace compared to the 505 litres of the XC60 and 560 litres of the V90. I've driven the XC60 in the D5 version R Design and that thing flies!!

@@scubacollie2083 If you need a Cross Country, I feel you'd need the V60CC 4WD for space or bigger V90 4WD if you have children. Our V90 is a super turbo-charged 4WD R for long drives and around the city. For snow ? Then get the V60 CC 4WD. I saw how it drove up -sideways on a slope on sandy ground...wow! And in another video a red V60CC was driven across the snow. It's so amazing how it drives across the frozen ground. Ours will arrive next month but I will feel sad :( to let go of the XC60. It has become part of me :)

The Buick Regal/Opel Insignia TourX is a a good alternative that won't drain your finances. We picked up a 2018 Regal TourX 2.0T with torque vectoring AWD for low $20's and could t be happier. The ride is quiet and smooth and very efficient on the highway getting close to 40 mpg at 65 mph. The Ecotec 2.0T works well on 87 octane.

What car do i choose? I need 4 x 4 Volvo, i'm torn beteen the V60 CC, V90 CC, and the XC60 R Design. The problem i have is i would like the largest boot space, which would be the V90 CC, but i'm struggling to get a used V90 CC D5 in Pro version within my budget as i would ideally like the front fog lights as without them the car looks like its missing something from the front? The R Design XC60 doesn't have the full leather, and although i could get the V60 CC in budget which has the full leather and the front fogs, i'm wondering if its too small? I have a 3 Series 320D Tourer Shadow edition at the moment. Is the 4x4 system the same accross all those 3 models i've listed above?

As far as I know, the AWD systems are the same units across the board but we don’t have the Diesel engines in North America. If you’re looking for space, the V90 will be best. You’ll have to determine if the V60 really is too small for your own personal use when you check it out

We had a Volvo V70 for over 7 years, and really loved it for its safety and good manoevering. It was very sad for me to say goodbye to it. We got an SUV XC60 and also enjoyed the comfort and safety it gave. It's over 5 yrs now and we're considering a Volvo again, but whether we should get a V60 or V90 because our family has grown too. We have 2 tall boys. Any ideas ?

I think you’ll be surprised by the rear seat space for the smaller V60. Start there and see what you think. I know the sensus screen received more powerful hardware so UI is slightly better in that regard

The V60 now has the T8, but I couldn’t find an answer for the CC T8

I really like. Wish these came with a six cylinder.

I was in one of these I was in a Tesla cause some body gave up their Tesla for a volo

Hopefully they put the T6 in this V60 CC soon. Then I buy.

I'm just not a fan of estate cars
