Another great Vid Richy as always👌I had a street with an arrow can on it loved the triple whistle sound and 'crackles' it gave out the back👍

It's an awesome sound. I took a 1050 out for a test ride from a local garage and had to apologise when I took it back as been away for near an hour and had to refuel as I was having far too much fun. Found the up and down quickshifter was buttery smooth.

I love the Speed Triple and especially the sound. I have the 1050 S and have changed the stock exhaust to a pair of end cans from SP Engineering, without baffles it sounds wow! I can't wait to test ride the new RS but absolutely love this shape. I'm pleased you like it!

Love the triple sounds too Richy👍I’ve had a 1200 Explorer which sounded as good with the Arrow pipe and tried the 675/1050 a few years ago, loved them for a Sunday blast!!

Had mine since July last year. 3k miles in. Suspension needs setting up in all honesty. I know you said you like it stiff but I found it ridiculously still. I’m 16 stone and it was throwing me out of the seat. Once set up it became sublime.

What a stunning looking and amazing sounding piece of art that is!!!

I've got a 2013 Speed Triple, lovely bike.

Triumph's triple is definitely in the 'whipped cream ' power delivery league. Long time since I owned one. Ta 4 the reminder. In Derbyshire in June, please wear out all the shite weather.. Happy travels

You do like going on the back roads that are full off mud and very wet ! speed triple does look well and sounds well my view is think the speed triple and street triple are a made well bike and triumph adventure bikes not so well built but thats my view.

I don’t usually say anything but that does sound good 😀😀😀

Richy isn’t just having a jolly out for the sake of it otherwise he wouldn’t have gone to tremendous lengths of sticking all of his camera gear to the bike, getting himself geared up, organising a route, planning stops and spent hours editing it for us WOULD HE?

So glad you are on a triumph, I had the street triple rs and I thought that was a hooligan, I must ride a speed triple sometime. At the moment I own a speed twin which has some grunt and I love it. Perhaps you would like to ride it as a subs ride, the offer is there mate.

How come some of them have switches for the headlights and some have the switch missing? Its so odd!

It's not for headlights, the switch is for Daytime Running Lights (DRL). They are not a requirement in the USA by law so you will see a lot of bikes with a blank space where the switch would be on a UK/EU bike.

@@RichyVida Cheers :) It has a nice zing to it. I had a 2006 Daytona 955i and sold it largely because the engine sound was so damned boring. This sounds like a step up. I gotta get me a test ride.

The VFR V4 through Staintunes is one of the nicest sounds on a bike. It’s is unique. Girthy, muscly. This is equally as nice, but totally different. Not muscly or girthy, but raspy, addictive and naughty! 😆😆

@@RichyVida Thanks. It’s impossible to appreciate sound from an iPad speaker, so the description of an experienced exhaust note sommelier is appreciated; well done! I too enjoy the blatty aural overtones of a vintage VFR clearing its throat at 6800, but my can of choice is a naughty dyno tuned four/two/one TBR system. But, aural descriptors aside, I can’t wait to hear the new Speed Triple RS from the saddle. Cheers!

@@RichyVida I have dynamic sport power with traction control from rain mode in the user mode on my bmw rs. I'm sure you could do the same on the triumph rider mode as it's a customisable mode too like the bmw user mode. I only use user or dynamic mode when riding solo but if the Mrs comes out then I use road mode as this helps reduce head butting 😁 I love using my user(rider) mode setting on damp or wet roads. It gives so much more throttle confidence with the extra tc

Personally, I can't take the styling of the Speed Triples, to bug eyed for me, but that sound more than makes up for it!

They just need to get funky with the colours black white silver hmm 🤔 and shitty stickers of which if you peel them off on the Matt black or silver it’s gloss underneath the stickers 👍🇦🇺😔

Sounds awesome and goes like stink but boy its ugly. Each to their own if you find it nice looking me personally looks like the found a load of bits in the Truimph R&D bin and assembed it. Nice colour scheme though.
