I think if you can take care of 1 guppy, you can take care of all guppy. No one guppy strain is harder than the others, just bad acclamation and conditions on the breeders part. Fry eating guppy are just brought up in a situation where they are used to eating each other, other than that, theres no major requirements to keep them. They are so hardy, you can throw them in salt water so yeah, all guppy = easy.

So true... thats why i recommend newbies to keep low budget type guppy first than buying expensive guppy...

My favorite are the blue ones

I have three kinds that are in this video. I have koi tuxedo short body (my favourite), red dragon, dumbo ear (red tail) all as pairs. And then I have my other mutt guppies for breeding. Only problem I have with breeding, I only euthanize the ones who legit can’t live happily, but I keep the ones with other disorders.....I have two guppies that are good examples. Squish (koi tuxedo short body) and squiggle (random mutt guppy). Their name says it all. Both are guys and have horrible spines, yet they swim fine, they are happy, eat lots, and are very healthy 🙂 when they both were first born I had to stay up for 48 hours each time to make sure they were still alive. Sometimes I would blow a bubble with an air tube under the substrate, the bubble would lift them up, and they would eat when it’s time for food. I also have a specialized tank for them that is really shallow with lots of things they can swim on to support themselves if needed. They have a couple friends I put with them too so they are kept entertained who have similar genetic problems. I love my fish. Squish and squiggle are almost a year old now 💖 I’ve dedicated my life to my fish

Mahirap po e.breed ang ribbon po kasi mahaba ang gonopodium na siya po ang nagpapasok ng similya sa anal ng female.. pero nyu obserbahan po . After a month, kung hindi parin nabuntis male nyo, bili ka nalang bagong male non ribbon.

I know y’all are guppy keepers and have plenty of them. If there’s a chance, i would love to adopt some and start this hobby

Good. Blue diamond is really good strain. Guppy is easy to breed, just place a male and female in a breeding tank.. make sure to provide filtration system if your breeding inside a tank. If ur breeding in the tub, provide plants. Goodluck. ;)
