2020 Subaru WRX - Build Overview & Full Cost
I get many questions on my build - so I figured I’d try to address just about every modification to my WRX. Since I’ve spent so much time backtracking on orders, I’ve included the price of how much I’ve spent on this build. I'm a bit shocked by how much I’ve invested in this car, but it’s all for fun and I don’t regret any modification I’ve mentioned in this video.

I do too, but the WRXs are FA motors. Quite different setup for the VA & VB chassis vs the traditional EJ motor.
Nice car bro. I want my 2016 STI to sit pretty much like that. Just wondering, you didn’t need to get your fenders rolled did you, with how it’s sitting on those coilovers?

I wish I had your brembos to fit in the wheel wells haha. No, with this setup I’ve had no fender modifications or rubbing issues. I did dial the height in 3 times to get this exact fitment without damage. You can run 255s and 9.5s no problem. 265s is where I hear people rub and it requires more camber and extended clearance. Hope that helps!

@@NickyStrunzhaha yeh Brembo’s are always good to have 🙌🏽. Can still get decent brake upgrades for the wrx’s though 💁🏽♂️. Awesome to know bro, I’ll be running the gramlight 57DR wheels 18x9.5+38. (57CR’s here in Australia is a 6 month wait as NO shops have them in stock, so 57DR’s it is) and will be running the 255/35 Michelin pilot sport tires. But thanks for the reply, sounds like I can hold off on getting guards rolled 🙌🏽
i really want a 2021 wrx sti but i have to wait a year to save up all the money in 2025 to be able to get it do you think i be able to buy it from the dealership or would i have to get one used from facebook market place?

You’ll have to buy one used. I’m sure you can find examples on BAT, dealerships, and/or marketplace. Depends on what you’re looking for.

Haha, I picked them up at the Rays booth at a local car show. Wicked Big Meet. I was talking to the rep there for quite a bit and he mentioned they're trying to move product, so I negotiated him down a bit and was about to get them, the lug nuts and the hubcentric rings for $1600.
Whered you find the AOS for $400? 😮

Yes. Pre-greenspeed update. You “can’t” do TGV and EGRs anymore.

@@NickyStrunz lol "cant". Explain..! I have a 18 WRX with FBO minus header and turbo, E60 tuned by Ron. Waiting for the new Flex fuel kit from cobb to add more power lol.

@@k20a2toofast4uI hear there’s ways to get around it but you need to talk to your tuner. And wow, your setup must absolutely rip. This is just bolt ons with 93. But the TGV/EGRs keep temps super low.

@@NickyStrunz yeah E60 makes a world of difference. It pulls harder than the FBOs on 93. I hope i can safely make 450awhp on stock motor with Boost lab turbo, PW intake manifold, GS header, and HPFP and injectors. I want to push it close to stock fueling limit without doing port injection lol.
Imagine for one second you properly invested that same money, bought a house, invested more and became mortgage free.
