Bought a few pieces from Carriaga for my weekend home in Moalboal. Quality and outstanding workmanship. They have another showroom in Carcar as well.

Someday I will move back to Philippines I would like to have that kind of furniture in my future house. So beautiful and look very sturdy…

Depends on the ones taste

Very nice, high quality furniture, but in a very formal, classical style. My house is more modern American mid-century modern style and bohemian so that wouldn't match to my decor.:) Some of the single pieces could fit in though I'd bet. Maam, could you please clarify about whether trees woods like Molave/tugas or acasia are not prohibited from being cut down and harvested? Is it still being legally done with permits? I know that gmelina trees are fast growing and plentiful, with no restrictions.

Its Narra wood that is prohibited by DENR to be cut being the national tree,but with other types if wood like Molave, Gemilina, Mahogany, Pine, Magkuno, Lawaan, etc. the lumber supply can get a permit to cut after inspection from DENR. although Narra is still be seen being sold discretely.

Ma'am may nakita ako dyan na "Lusong" hinde ko po alam Kung anong tawag nyan sa Cebuano. Yung pinagbabayuhan ng palay o Saging na nilupak. Long time looking for that. Now I know were to buy it. Thnak you for your video!😍😍😍

@@villagepeoplephilippines Thank you very much Ma'am. One more request. Do you know a reliable plumber who can fix our pressure tank and pump. Been trying to have it fixed for longer than I can remember. Plumber in Carcar had me buy another pressure switch but that didn't sort it. He got paid a days wages and disappeared. The pump will not switch off. I have now bought another pump and water control switch but need a person who knows what to do. I know your workmen are excellent and reliable . Hope you can help! Take care always.

Do you know which are the most expensive woods for furniture. I had doors made out of yellow narra for 12k pesos and flooring of yellow narra at 160 pesos per board ft. Red narra at 250 pesos per board ft but have no idea on other woods. Thank you.

There is also Ironwood know locally as Magkuno and another hard wood is Kamagong wood
