@@russtriking3398 Hello again. Is this a joke against the pros, or that pros are so adapted to flatter stuff that they don't do well on house shots, which can happen?

@@coopergates9680 NO joke! I turned Pro in 1986. It is well known that 99.5% house shots are very very easy! They are walled up & very dry. Most Pro's need oil & a demanding shot to preform. You think you could average 210 on a Professional tournament shot? I bet most 220 HOUSE BOWLERS couldn't break 180. It is the same for Pros. I av. 230 in leagues in the 80s. But once I started cashing, I couldn't bowl league anymore. My league av. went under 205. The only thing I could bowl 1/2 way decent was Tournaments. I HAVE TO BOWL WITH A PLASTIC SPARE BALL TO KEEP IT ON THE LANE. THERE ARE 2 VERY DIFFERENT TYPES/WORLDS OF BOWLING. AMATURE & PROS. Most houses put out maybe 20% of conditioner that PBA puts out. You wouldn't even see any blue if they tinted it. The only way I can bowl on league shots is if you put $$$ on the table. Another reason is 36 weeks of 3 games. If you open in the 5th frame of game 6, in league, it doesn't mean much. In PBA, it can cost you a TITLE!

@@russtriking3398 What you bowl on in league is unusually dry. A proper THS with an oil ratio of 8-12 has a decent volume. In my main house, some newbies complained about tossing it in the gutter and made the mechanic wall the shot up, so while even reactive resin will stay on the lane because there's enough oil in the middle, get it out in the dry and you're on the nose or Brooklyn. Again, that shot has an oil ratio of at least 400 because it's damned bone dry on the first few boards. The house shot in the other local house was pretty good before COVID. It usually didn't overreact off the dry and I had a 299 and 836 in practice years back. Then they walled that shot up, too -.- Outside of house shots, I went 920 for 4 on Kegel Chromium. I also did alright on Radium, Route 66, and Arsenic, but then sucked balls on Plutonium. Which Kegel patterns have you rolled on?
