Rented this car for 10 days. The steering is incredibly light and loose, not what I was used to. I do however like the fact it consistently stayed under 3,000 RPM. Engine wasn’t as noisy as in this video, and worked just fine! Definitely not a vehicle I’d buy, but not as horrible as it looks.

Having driven many of these, they aren't as bad as people say they are. The Rogue is great for just daily driving around town etc. Sure CVTs aren't great, but they aren't terrible unless your flooring it from every light. We own a 2010 Rogue SL with 200,000 miles and the CVT still works fine.

I went from American made vehicles from 93 Ford Explorer, 99 Jimmy, 03 S-10, 08 Town & Country to a 2015 SV AWD & absolutely love it. I change the CVT fluid every 40,000, I'm 6'5 & 380lbs and fit perfectly inside, and have ample room in the back seat for passengers without moving my seat. It is great in the snow and rain. The windshield is huge and can see so much! I average 24-36mpg. I really love the Rogue and has been a great vehicle thus far in the Metro Detroit traffic & weather! Great video. I'm gonna get another one.

Last time we had a toyota was a tacoma, something in the steering broke and my girlfriends father crashed head on into another truck. As long as you take care of it, it will last. Maybe avoid a Rogue if you're looking for reliability. Mazda and Toyota make higher-quality cars that are also nicer to drive. But if you really want one, they're not completely awful.

@@benjamindoyle668 my mom told me mazdas were foreign cars so if I needed to repair it, it would cost more also my mom is offering me her 2011 Chevy equinox so I'm gonna take that instead it's an suv nothing special but it will for a first car. I'm alright with it then after driving that for a few years I'll consider buying something newer that I want in the future also the car Is all payed off so I'll just have to worry about like gas,oil changes etc.

it’s called the rubber band effect is what mechanics call it. it’s because the way the CVT transmission works. it’s not a normal transmission. it’s basically a box with a belt or a band on it that winds up. it’s a weird set up.

johnnyedify you know who own the Nissan? Renault! Beep chime? Oh well Renault did that too! What about engine? Renault help Nissan making the Unreliable engine too! CVT? Renault make it happen too! GTR R35 is V6 instead of RB26? Renault’s idea too since they want to use Renault Clio v6 Engine so bad and enlarge the bore with it. Nissan is crappier than I thought! Funny, Renault car it’s self in Europe like Maganne and Cilo are so much better than their effort with Nissan. I almost get a Nissan Altima as a my first car but my car dealership also had a Hyundai Sonata so I test Drive them and my god! I can’t believe how much better Hyundai is compare to Nissan(I will make a review video on my other channel soon)! What you get for $10,000 used is insane! It’s way more luxury than a Toyota Camry! And chime is the best too(until Lincoln Aviator came).
