Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
The 2020 Nissan Altima has been redesigned from the ground up and it has the style, comfort, and features to take on the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. And this Altima has something they don't and that an AWD option. This is the Best Altima Ever.

A KZread Channel with no name I am leaning towards the Camry SE. There are complaints about the 8 speed transmission having delayed acceleration, and complaints from some about the seats being uncomfortable, but I have come to realize that there will be complaints with every car brand. I’m tired of stressing over my search, and ready to pull the trigger on something. Anyway, what do you think about the Camry, and have you driven one? Thanks in advance.

Sherrik Whiteside i have a Altima and have rode in a Camry the 8 speed is very sluggish compared to the altimas cvt hence why the altimas 0-60 is faster and the 8 speed doesn’t shift that nicely but the Altima has the ability to fake shifting or drive like a normal cvt both are smooth and if you can get a lifetime power train warranty I would definitely pull the trigger on the Altima is much more comfortable but even if you can’t I would say whatever is your preference and test drive them both for me I liked the how the cvt drove and didn’t like how the 8 speed did so it’s personal opinion both will last quite along time with routine maintenance just change the fluid on the cvt every 30k if you get the altima
Not gonna lie the new Altima looks amazing and it comes turbo too might have to get one instead of going broke and getting a 2020 370z

Thank you! Great review. Hubby and I just bought a 2020 Nissan Altima 2.5 SR yesterday ! Gun Metal Gray. We love it. I'm fine with the mirrors. Rear window is fine. Haven't had a issue with the monitor reflecting except in late evening as the sun is going down. It's got good resolution and color. I'm more impressed now on day 2 than on my test drive. Glad you mentioned the seats! I have a very bad back. Spinal fusion of lower lumbar in 2011 and went pain free until this time last year. Then driving my 2012 Sonata became very painful. Drove a 2019 Sonata rental last January for 4 weeks and NO MORE PAIN! That's when I knew I had to get a NISSAN Altima. I can drive again pain free!!! Only Nissan has Zero Gravity Seats!!!

@@AQCE245 Yes they are made by Nissans co JATCO. These transmissions dont last. To make it to 100k you should change your cvt fluid constantly as it degrades quickly. I do it every 30k and I just reached 100k. It also would help to put a transmission cooler on it especially in hotter climates.

I have a 2016 Nissan Altima with a 3.5 liter V6 Engine (only 6% of Altimas sold have a V6 according to Nissan) and it comes FULLY loaded for thousands less than the base model Maxima and the engine is the exact same engine as the Maxima. Per Nissan, the only difference is it is set up with 30 less horsepower in order to get that great Altima gas savings . T 16 Maxima totally does, all the materials are more beautiful, complex and expensive and it’s like sitting in a cockpit of a race car. However, do I want to pay thousands more for that alone. Personally I would, but I like the interior of the Altima better because I sit higher in a sedan-like interior and feel like I have better line of sight, but that’s a personal preference. The Maxima is more luxurious but I probably couldn’t afford all the extras. I have the Altima 3.5 liter which has all the extras included like Sunroof, collision-avoidance systems. I guess this really what you want, whether it’s Performance or look Shuri or price point. With the Ultima I can get almost all the performance of a luxury had a lower price point, although the materials and the interior are much more simple and less luxurious. And I get about 30 less horsepower which is a little less get up and go, but the gas mileage is a little better on the highway but still atrocious around town, Especially if you have a leadfoot like me LOL

Their CVTs have had ridiculously awful reliability for the last 15 years. It's not uncommon to hear of them failing at 30, 45k miles. Mine is at 90k and no transmission failure so far (did have an issue at 40k that was "fixed" by a reprogram of the transmission control unit). However, I just had all 4 control arms replaced, and all the front & rear sway bar brackets and bushings replaced. Also the upper engine mount and the lower front engine mount were completely split apart. I'll never buy another Nissan.

I'm only 19, but I've driven late model Nissan Altimas as rental cars. They're great, but I would never want to buy one brand new, or lease one for 2 years, knowing that any day that CVT will go out. I wish they'd either go to conventional automatics or buy CVTS from another car manufacturer. I know Scotty Kilmer personally, and we talked for over an hour about Nissan's transmissions and how they're actually getting worse with time and that people get less time out of them than the early years of the CVTs in Nissans. I understand that CVTS get excellent gas mileage, but I would never buy a car for a few dollars extra saved at the pump for compromised reliability and durability. I own a 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis and I like it a lot, and chose it over a 2010 Altima for the same price of $5000.
This was a very informative and helpful review. You helped me out, so I left you a like. Thank you!

@Law and Games. I rented a 2021 Chevy Malibu after my car accident (not my fault). Test drove 2022 Nissan Altima at local dealership. Saw a survey of 8-10 makes listed on line, ranked 1-8 or 1-10. Nissan rated #3, Malibu ranked last. I purchased through a rental car sales company a 2020 Nissan Altima 2.5 S in the ext/int colors I wanted. Saved over $4200 on purchase price.
Just Absolutely Beautiful 💛💙💛💙
Dude, Alt season is in full force, where did you go?
Ok, I know it's a rental but...The first thing I noticed was how harsh the ride was with the tire and wheel combo. Hitting potholes and bumps(you can't miss every one of them) was very jarring. The lack of acceleration was very noticable too. It felt like I was mashing it with very little acceleration to get on highway or to make traffic corrections. The CVT seems so sluggish and unresponsive to normal driving conditions. But, with only 30,000 miles the interior seems to rattle like a car with double the milage. The infotainment center is hard to see when sunlight is bright and seems odd just sticking out of the dash. After driving it around a few days, I'm glad I'm not an owner. For the price of these things, I would have been disappointed. Good thing it's a rental.
I've read and heard that ever since Nissan partnered up with Renault the Nissan cars have gone to hell. A major dropped in quality. Also, they have been having serious problems with the CVT transmission.
