I just bought a triple black 2020 gx460 sport and I love it! Luxury at its finest top of the line. Rides so smooth and so comfortable. Those worrying about it being a gas guzzler maybe this vehicle isn’t for you. Go buy a Prius. Those hating on it just don’t get it. I test drove 2020 x 5 and 2020 gle Mercedes. I chose this because I know It’s resell value and reliability will outlast bmw and Merecedes. I live in Honolulu btw the roads r shitty and it still handles well.

What a fabulous vehicle. It actually stays true to its roots!

Toyota maybe taking a conservative approach to some technology enhancements, but when it comes to engineering and long lasting resale values, they are leaders in the class. They are staying true to their core mission, which is great for repeat customers! Great video!

Smartphone play sucks

The mesh texture in newer Lexus SUV grilles looks so much better than the chunky bars. I also wish they had made the back a little more interesting to look at

This is the perfect for someone who wants a classy design and doesn’t care much about features and technology

I love the 2020 Lexus GX 460 it’s very sexy and nice and old school!!!

For this being the "Modern" 2020 Lexus it still feels stuck in 2014 or even later. Kinda Outdated if you ask me. I love Lexus but they should've matched the new modern exterior with a modern and sleek interior.

The only thing really dated is the infotainments lack of modern smartphone integration but nav is standard at least which it isn't on all competitors & at least you get weather, traffic & Bluetooth which works just fine & it is more capable & that in itself is a luxury with a powerful V8 & AWD standard 🤷🏽‍♂️

I went car shopping in December and noticed most new cars look like older model styles now. Like you said 2014 or earlier. Not blown away by most of the styles now.

Same with sequoia and Tundra, I think Toyota likes to keep a look for the older buyers .. which I agree with you if this gx had an interior like the telluride or the palisade I’d buy it , but I’d pass for now

As a owner of a 2018 gx luxury (top trim), the few things they changed are: grille, HEADlamps, wood trims with metal inlays, speedometer colored screen, camera for the left side( as they somehow decided to delete the left side camera for American spec cars for the earlier models ), multi terrain select, and a new red interior. That’s it! Why? Because as a off-roader as a lot of you don’t know, it is already a jump from 4runners. The only thing I personally don’t like about the new one is that they still decided to keep the helogen turn signals... That’s really a shame.

It might sound weird but sometimes I just clicked to hear your voice lol one of the best

I love how Lexus always shows these big predator grilles with no front license plate. Add a license plate and, hmm… (Owner here of a 2015 lux version so we do love the platform).

Outdated interior, Cabin noise is super high. If you dont mind that. then it may be a good lease. Tested one this weekend.

My 2005 Corolla probably runs better than many new cars. Lexus is also an excellent brand.

DSTY well Toyotas are extremely reliable my guy nothing new there, and even Lexus is hella reliable so I see no reason why to invest in a Toyota or Lexus

Hey all, I just got the 2020 GX. Every time after i finish driving, when i press the Start Button, the power complete turns off. Normally in my other cars, you press it once, it turns off the engine, press it twice then it shuts off the power. I just want to turn off the engine but leave the music on. Is there a setting i can change? i look everywhere and i can't find it. Thanks.

Congrats! And there is no solution to that problem, that's just the way that all Toyota and Lexus products are. Most other automakers choose to have accessories stay on until the door opens they do it differently

Just press twice. Once to turn everything off then again to turn accessory mode on for radio. It does shut off automatically eventually to save battery.

Actually bought a low mile 12' GX because the front end of the newer ones is absolutely atrocious. The interior is exactly the same, as is the rest of the vehicle save the huge cattle guard front end. All that is to say, 10 years of a vehicle design essentially unchanged but the front end..

Is was decidedly the 10-13' style (hence our 12') over a 14-16'. We are not new Lexus buyers, just not that cash frivolous. Our choice boiled down to a much more conservative style vs The look at me "Predator, open mouth look."

Just a comment on accuracy, some of the statements in your videos are not correct as per manufacturer specs and data. Example, premium audio is 19 speakers in this car and the two blank switches are for air suspension and crawl control. Otherwise, very thoughtful and well made videos.

Apple CarPlay? Nope.

Lexus hesitate to provide the latest techs. No led turn signal , no tablet like infotainment system , still lot of plastics inside. All they are focused on are the seat details and obviously the ugly grill.

The 2020 Lexus has a good looking exterior but the inside is the biggest drawback with cheap and outdated looking infotainment system and seats. It basically has a Toyota Highlander’s interior or worse. Good reliability tho

Why the front end is nothing but grill ? Where is the beauty ? It looks like the grill is getting bigger and bigger to swallow people who walk in the front of the car , no wonder there has been more missing people recently , these Lexus models with humongous grills have been swallowing people . The Fukushima disaster must have affected the Lexus designers , we want bigger grill to include the hood also .

I think it’s so retarded how the Cadillac Escalade is constantly criticized for being outdated yet everything about this brand new 2020 Lexus LX looks straight out of 2010. The double standards are ridiculous. It’s such bs. Lol
