Love this Channel. You’ve filled a void in the viewing public by providing us with English reviews and previews of KDM or soon-to-be released cars from Korea that will come to overseas territories. You’ve one-up’d all the other Korean channels simply because you cater to English viewers too, unlike 99% of those channels. It’s rather annoying when you go to A YT channel with an English name but everything else is in Korean and not even any English subtitles. Rant over lmao. Keep it up!!

I can't think of an other car that has had a go-fast makeover that has made as much of a difference as the Forte GT. It's an ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS car for the price. It's baffling how it's so inexpsive, and it still drives in a pretty sporting way. It's got enough power to spin those poor stock tires off for days too :-D I just traded in my Focus ST for one. I shopped the Mazda3, Civic Si, and GTI and the Kia just wins for the money in big big ways. After driving it, i totally started to understand it's brilliance.

Nice review! This car looks really nice especially from the rear view. Beautiful tail lights. 10 years ago I would have never considered buying a Kia. Just came out in Australia, drove it and it's FANTASTIC! Feels more gutsy then the i30NLine, whilst being bit over 1k cheaper and having HEAPS more features!

I just bought one from Frankston Kia. At $31,990 it’s got to be one of the best “bang for your buck”. I car the demo car for half a day. I absolutely loved it. It’s a real gem! I’m waiting for delivery though because I want the red one.

Thank you very good review. I was waiting to see what Kia would do with this new Gen of Forte as it relates to the sportier version. I have a 2017 Forte5 SX 1.6 Turbo. My first Kia and a very good car so far. Great balance between sporty and comfort. My other car is a Kia Soul EX .... also a great car with plenty of space for hauling and on-road comfort. I am in Canada and I can say that Kia has ensured excellent heating systems for colder climates Korea is a major auto producer and this channel fits in well for those of us that want to know whats happening in Korean auto industry.

Orlando llevo un par de semanas con el y me está dando en promedio 10 kilómetros de camino al trabajo, básicamente por el tránsito. Este fin de semana salí a Cuernavaca y me dio 16 km promedio, 18 de ida y 14 de vuelta.

Orlando para mi hubo dos cosas principales por las que elegí este auto, la primera fue la transmisión CVT que no transmite mucha “emoción” de manejo como la DCT que tiene el Forte y el sistema de infotenimiento que el Civic al no tener una perilla de volumen y un software bueno, cuando lo probé me frustro que no pudiera controlar el volumen de la música de manera eficiente. Adicional el sistema de sonido suena mejor en el Forte. Espero te sirvan mis comentarios, al final cualquiera de los dos autos es una buena elección!

Me refiero a las de dct, que suelen tronar mas que las cvt o que las automática. Una última cosa, el sonido que genera el motor y que comentan en el vídeo que no se puede desactivar(solo en modo eco) es molesto? Sobresale de la música?

Love your reviews. I believe we have this one in Australia but called the Cerato GT. Since we are not having the newer Optima or Niro here this car is probably the best option. I would like to wait for the new KIA sharp looking badge. Also hoping the instrument cluster and the centre lcd screen will get an upgrade soon.

It's also important to note that this car has a fully independent rear suspension that helps it handle much better than the regular car. I love this so much better than the regular model. Inside and out, it's just a better car.

Thanks for another video! Looks like this car is quiet on the interior so they decided to pipe some exhaust sound in. You look like you had a lot of fun driving the car. :) KIA is making waves with these new vehicles, too bad they don’t have something similar to Hyundai’s “N” Division. Maybe in the future they will do some powerful sporty cars.

Nice job on the review as a owner of a 2015 Forte5 Sx I think this is a pretty good update.. I find the noise genrator a bit much. Super fake. My 15 model does not have it and the car sounds great... Summer tires are a very nice option..

The GTI is a real hot hatch, while this K3 GT is a "spicy" hatch. But that is reflected in the price as well, as a comparably equipped GTI will cost a lot more than this. Want a Korean GTI killer? Get the i30N or the Veloster N. They slay the GTI.

This would look good as a crossover.

I have to say, I'm not a big fan of hatchbacks, DCTs or summer tires. Still, it's got good underpinnings in the regular Forte. Can you address the blinking red light that seems to say "Transmission Temp"? At 7:20. Thanks, great review!

Not coming to the US. We only get the sedan.

The 5 door is better by far. I have a 2018 Forte LX and love it. If the 5 door comes with a manual transmission it will be a hot seller, I know the sedan GT does have a manual option and no CVT. I am however torn between the Veloster and the Forte GT. The Veloster N has 45 more HP but it's too small and a bit too loud for my liking. But love them both. Waiting on the release of the 5 door in the USA, possibly will be called Forte 5 GT

The Forte GT and Kia ProCeed GT that we have got here in Europe are the same car?

I think they are little different. Forte GT is basically a Forte with 1.6 turbo with enhanced suspension, steering and exhaust system. Thank you.

Forte Gt would be the equivalent of Kia Ceed Gt in Europe, Cerato GT in Australia.

@@AsianPetrolhead I found it using search phrase "TUON K3 GT aFe 흡기 시스템" - it was only found when searching in Korean. Tuonmall only ships domestic. Perhaps there is an english speaking tuning shop in the neighbourhood I can contact? Not knowing the language is a real roadblock - i need assistance of someone local. This intake is only available in South Korea. Any assistance will be much appreciated!
