Nope. Seems like a great car, but I’m not the target market...I prefer a Ram 1500 Limited. Maybe I get one of these for my wife’s charm bracelet.

Beautiful car but for that price you get already an ID3 with the Medium Size Battery and with extras you are close to the 77kwh Version. Even when I like it I would go for the more practical ID3.

It more for people who live and commute in the City and places like small islands where it won't take you more than 2-3hours to get to your destination.

When the Japanese do their own thing, you get great quirky products

Good review, I'm a petrol head but I think this for an electric vehicle is one of the coolest things that's come out for years. Everyone who drives it says it's also got a quality feel to it. It also has the retro and future mix as it looks like the original Civic which predated the Golf Mark 1, even the wooden dash and the steering wheel are similar to that first Civic which again was groundbreaking for a small car. I'm fed up of people moaning about the range probably 90% of Us in this country do not travel further than 100 miles regularly, all the caravan parks in the UK are booked up up for the whole of August most of us I only need about 50 miles to get there. Now I just need to get a TIFF speaking option in my car 👍😂

Definitely growing on me especially in this blue colour finish but I’m not sure I can see past that rather puny range.

How is it that an electric car is one of the few reasonably sized hatchbacks currently being sold. Look mum, two doors.

In terms of styling this car reminds me of a mark 1 Golf or a mark 2 escort but much nicer and more modern inside. It is way too expensive for me though.

I can sense your excitement Paul, and I’m with you on that. EV’s need to be fun, make you feel happy and appeal to the techy generation. As regards price, I feel it may be a showcase for what Honda can do in this sector and there may be cheaper variants in the future. But, this thing has luxury too and could become a bit of a trendy city icon....👍🏻

The headlights are like 2 Arc reactor

It is a cute little car and I am someone who loves computers and technology, I wouldn't mind having a go in it, however because its small and Im a tall person I just wonder whether I would be able to drive comfortably without taking my shoes off. I had an unpleasant experience with the Suzuki Alto 800, I tried it but I felt soo uncomfortable and knew I would never be happy because iy has a cramp cabin. I also tried the tad bigger Alto K10 and I was comfy in that one. So the Question of whether If I had the money whether I would buy it will hinge in the fact of whether I will be comfy in one. There's also the question of range. I guess it will feel more at home in the city and small island nations.

Maybe you could call it eddy.. loose electrical terms..eddy currents or after the bulb inventor Edison ⚡️

great. these are just good for old people in a retirement town to run their errands. But then they will all be put off by all the tech in there. And with that price tag, it leaves a target market of about 0.01% of the population. I certainly don't want to be rolling around in a car that looks like it cost less than half what they are asking. This thing should have been a budget car. Then perhaps it would become iconic like the beatle

It's a great little car!

It would be lovely for this price point to see full carbon body. Drop the weight at least 200 kg and lower the car about 1-2 cm. Bigger battery is not necessarily, but bigger range is.

NO! I payed the advanced reservation fee but got it reimbursed when they came up with the price and the range. Since 2 weeks i'm a proud owner of a VW e-up.

Funny you say that, as when you scoot into a different lane with conventional mirrors you lean forward to check blind spot... but here of course it doesn’t change even if you look from a different angle

When it rains, does the camera look clear or blurry?

It didn’t rain whilst we had the car, because of the direction of the cameras however I would have thought it would be fine.

If only the range was competitive. No matter how much you keep saying “small city car” it still should have a higher range for the price.

in person it is really cheap looking so much overuse of black plastic on the front not what id expect for a compact luxury car let alone an affordable one

Ah, yes folks, the Honda hee-hee e... ...This obscenely overpriced, overteched object looks like a cross between a batt-pack-shopping-trolley and a doubly concave mobile matchbox. Saleswise, in this country, I predict that it will prove to be a colossal white elephant. It features a boot the size of a postage stamp plus a range just about capable of carrying you twice round the block - ok, make that three times - added to which there's a charging-port lid on the bonnet resembling the top of your nan's commode. Finally (this next bit is tech overload gimmickry gone beserk and then some) we come to a multitude of in-your-face screens stretching would you believe the entire length of the dash, one, wait for it, forming a mock fish tank.. I kid you not Presumably its purpose is in answer to masses of ev drivers demanding of the manufacturer that they be sure to incorporate in the fascia fake images of floating perch etc. The one thing I applaud are those innovative door cameras but you pay through the nose and mouth to enjoy their presence. [News recently reached me regarding an individual who, apparently murmuring yuck phrases like 'Cutesy-cutesy-cool' and probably at one and the same time wetting their underwear in the process of viewing the thing, proceeded to put down a deposit to purchase this Japanese runaround. A few weeks after taking delivery, said person went into a motor accessories shop wanting a windscreen wiper for it. The assistant's response was, 'Sounds about right!']
